The name " Out of Nowhere Kitchen" was inspired by their location on Davao, which is a place that is hard to find. In the world of business where everyone is trying to make a profit and at the same time hoping for their businesses to rise, there is also new businesses that are inspired to bring the other countries food to our country and that is, Kofouku. Kofouku is a Japanese inspired restaurant located at Beacon Avenue Pueblo de Oro Business Park Uptown, Cagayan de Oro City.
You might wondering what is the meaning of the Kofouku, right? Kofouku is a Japanese word that means happiness. As the owners dream is to bring the food of Japan here in the Philippines for those people who love Japanese foods but don't have the enough money to go to Japan, this might be the place for you. The business has more than 12 employees. Here are the questions we asked them:
How do you advertise your business like do you use any professional services for your business? They have marketing team to promote their business through social media like Facebook, Instagram and also TikTok. What made you choose your company's location? According to them, they chose uptown is because the owners house and the location of the business is nearby.
What changes have you made to your business strategy over the past few years? The amount of food they put to the plate of the costumers and also receiving the feedbacks of the costumers so that they can adjust.
Is your cash flow positive each month and what is your pricing strategy and why? Yes, though their new but as we asked them about the cashflow they said their cash flow is good.
Is your social media strategy effective? Yes, their social media strategy is effective.
What qualities make your company attractive to work for and how do you protect you're brand? According to them, the quality of their food. Filipinos might be shocked of the taste of the Japanese cuisine because it has less salt and also sweetness.
Are their any licenses or permits that you had to obtain before starting your operations? Ofcourse, they obtain all of the requirements needed for business.
What challenges did you face while navigating the legal requirements for your business? According to them so far they have no issues obtaining all the legal requirements for the business.
CHOWKING
Chowking is a Filipino Chinese food that offers not just Filipino traditional food but also uniqueness because of its merging to Chinese dishes and Filipino food.
Chowking Uptown started to open on March 02, 2022 as their mission is to let Filipino taste the Filipino Chinese cuisine. They have 25 employees half of that is for day and also for night because Chowking Uptown is open 24 hours.

How do you advertise your business like do you use any professional services for your business? They have social media like Facebook and Instagram. They also do merchandises to their products like commercials, billboards and also tarpaulins.
What made you choose your company's location? According to the manager that we asked they chose uptown is because they target the residence and also the students their.
What made you choose your company's location? According to them they offer their special soup like Beef Mami and Wanton Mami.
How much time do you spent working in your business each day? According to the manager we asked the staff shifts after 8 hours and the manager shifts after 9 hours.
Which part of the business is not profitable? The manager said that the food that is not very profitable is the food called "Buchi".
Is your cash flow positive each month? Yes, according to the manager the cashflow of the business is positive. Actually, every day they always hit the target income of 160K a day.
Who are your most valuable and most costly customer so far? According to the manager their most valuable customer is the residence that lives there. In fact they have a faithful customer there.
Is your social media strategy effective? According to her, yes.
The CoffeeLAB
Coffee is the most common business here in the Philippines, but did you know what makes a coffee unique? It's ambiance and you can experience that in The CoffeeLAB
The coffeeLAB started as a furniture business and then changed it to coffee because they believe that they make more profits selling coffee than furnitures. The owner thinks that it is better to merge their furniture for their new businesss which is coffee for them to save more money and also to have that chill and beautiful ambiance.

How many employees does your company have and what services or products do you offer? As of now the coffeeLAB has 10 employees but they are still hiring for new employees. They offer their costumers pasta, coffee, cheesecakes ,and flavored cookies.
How do you advertise your business like do you use professional services for your business? Yes, they have social media accounts like Facebook.
What made you choose your company's location and what are your company goals? According to the manager that we asked, they chose SM Uptown Northwing because of its people. The goal of the business is bring people food satisfaction and also good services. Basically their target costumer are the rich people.
What changes have you made to your business strategy over the past few years? According to the manager, when they spot something that concerns their business the owner will automatically changed it, like their foods and also drinks.
How did you come-up with the name of your company? According to the manager, the owner name coffeeLAB its because they are trying to experiment (LAB) coffee.
What kind of corporation is your business and are you looking for qualities for a new employees? They want their employees to be consistent and to be loyal to them.
How much time do you spend working each day? Their working hours is 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
How does your business generate income and which parts of your business are not profitable? According to the manager, the coffees is the product that generates more income and as for not profitable many of their products are not that profitable in the SM Uptown Northwing because of it's product that is pricey.
Is your cashflow positive each month and what is your pricing strategy and why? Their cashflows are good but not so good just like the their brance in the SM Downtown. The Downtown has more sales than the Uptown because of that one viral video.
Who are your most valuable and most costly customers? According to the manager, their valuable costumers is the business man/woman.
Is your social media strategy effective? Unfortunately, their social media is not effective because it's not active anymore.
SEAFOOD PARADISE
People always crave for something that is affordable and also can save amount of money for their other expenses. SEAFOOD PARADISE offer buffet that is not just budget friendly and but also offers delicious seafood and Filipino cuisines.
SEAFOOD PARADISE is a restaurant located in the SM Uptown Northwing that offers buffet and also delicious Filipino foods that is badget friendly. The SEAFOOD PARADISE here at Northwing started January 28, 2023 and they have 16 employees.

How do you advertise your business and what made you choose your company's location? SEAFOOD PARADISE advertise their foods through social media platforms like Facebook. According to the manager, they chose uptown because a lot of rich people come there.
How do you allocate resources and do you offer performance rewards? Unfortunately the manager don't know how to allocate the resources because she is new but to answer the follow-up question if they offer performance rewards? unfortunately, no.
What problems that you have encountered when running a business? The problem that the SEAFOOD PARADISE are encountering is their monthly rent which is 180k thousand per month and also their rude customers.
Out of Nowhere
As we are aware of the situation that the Philippines are on, people are trying to find a budget friendly and also tasty food that will satisfy their cravings. Out of Nowhere offer's not just ambiance but also tasty and budget friendly food.

What qualities do you look for a new employee? The qualities they are looking for their new employee is to have experience and also a good background.
What is the company's vision for the future and how does it plan to get there? The companies vision is to provide good service for the costumers.
What is your everyday target income to your business? Their target income everyday is to reach 34k a day.
INSIGHTS
Overall, all of the companies that we interviewed has the same answers about how they make their businesses big, and also how they maintain there businesses. Being in the business industry is hard when you don't surround yourself with people who's not into business and not consistent to maintain the business. All the business man we interviewed so far are good in making there businesses big, by creating new ideas, experimenting new products, having good location, knowing what's their target costumer and also how they maintain the profit, social media marketing and also some have a teacher for them to teach something valuable.

Resilience: Resilience is important to persevere over failures. Having resilience view setbacks as learning opportunity to grow as a person.
Diversity: Diversity is an importance source of our value. Having to attain this value we needs to be able to lower our social barriers in exchange of the information that might help us.
Belief: Believing in our own ideas and abilities is necessary to influence others and find motivation to overcome all of the obstacles that we are facing.
Allocation: Allocation is our ability to know when to perfect and when to allow to be good enough to have an optimal balance of resources.
Comfort Zone: Having a wide comfort will make our growth slower and it is that we have to be working on.

Fundamentals of being a Commander ENTJ
We always strive for greatness: whether it is a big or small challenges by giving enough time and resources we can always achieve what our mind puts into.
A worthy challenge: We distance our emotions and think rationally especially when it comes to the public. Commander ENTJ type of personality thinks that being persuade by your emotions is the sign of weakness and making it easy to make enemies with this approach.
The Role of Commander ENTJ Personality
Commanders ENT persons are natural born as a leader. We embody the gift of charisma and confidence. Commander ENTJ draws crowds together to put them into common goal. Being rational, using the drive to pursue things, the determination to always striving for the better days and better outcome and also sharp minded to achieve the objectives we put our minds into is the role of the commander.
