Carnya nodded reluctantly. Sometimes he wondered if it had been worth it to survive all he went through, to live through everyone else dying all around him.
He leaned his head on her shoulder.
“We’ll run into Uncle Cana one day, and meet Uncle Maedhros when he is re-embodied, and we can talk to them about it then... you can even punch them,” She said in a soothing tone, “But for now it is my job to keep you alive, baby cousin.”
(Older Saraiel) "Carnya, you cannot just go around starting fights with people... unless you have a dagger up your sleeve, did you remember your dagger?"
"I have three daggers, poisoned darts, my wires and a sword. I'm ready to fight that rapist."

“…I know. It just pisses me off, where was he after he got the silmarils? Why didn’t he come back? Did we mean that little to him?”
“It’s not for us to know,” She sighed and looked at her cousin, bumping shoulders with him, “We did okay without him, right? We’re still going,” Though she had Moryo to thank mostly for her life.

“But it was ours, it became ours when Morgoth and his shit-kicking luitenent decided to come knocking on our doors even after they died!”
“I just want to make sure you are armed, I didn’t say you couldn’t fight, Carnya. But I understand, it hurts me too.”

Tel-oh. That made more sense, he nodded as he finally understood the situation. Smiling Tyelca offered her his hand so she wouldn’t get lost. “Well then if you are sure, and you clearly are, I would be delighted to show you the wolves. Tyelpinya still needs to meet them too so we can go together.” He indicated the dog as he said her name.
Saraiel looked at the puppy and reached to pet and hug her before looking up at her uncle and nodding, “Thank you, Uncle Tyelca,” She said happily and pet Pinya more, “Oh you are so cute!”
(dunnalad) Saraiel approached Tyelca nervously and looked up at him before silently holding up some arrows she made as a gift to her uncle.
The footsteps were quiet but there was a subtle scent of the wild woods of Arda that hung around her which first caught his attention and Tyelca looked down to see the arrows. Kneeling down he took them and looked them over before smiling at her. “Hello little one. Did you make these?”

“He could have taken me with him and not dumped me on the doorstep of someone I’d never met before!”
“He could have, perhaps Uncle Maedhros would have found you and him a nice cozy volcano together. Uncle Cana wanted you safe and you were safe. He did not want their battle to become ours,” Like she was sure Uncle Curvo did for Tyelpe.

“Very good, I think Uncle Cana would be proud of you.”
“No he’s not, if he was he would have stayed instead of abandoning me for those tacky silmarils.”
“He did not have a choice, you know that.”

After the first few notes Cana recognized the song. It had been a very long time since he heard it, and the last time he sung it was to a pair of dark haired twins who were feeling lost and afraid of losing their family. Smiling he hummed along, letting Saraiel set the pacing for the song.
She finished the song and looked up at him with a big smile, “Do you like that song? It is my favourite,” Saraiel told him not fully realizing it was a song that he had written himself, “I’m not good as Amme is, but Amme says you are the best musician so maybe you can play it even better?”
(Dunnalad) "You are Ma... Maga... Magolaure, right?" The elfling asked curious, stumbling his name, combining the Quenya and Sinda, "I am Saraiel, you are my Amme's brother, right?"
Cana grinned and knelt down to be closer to her height. “Yes, I am. You can call me Cana if you want. It’s very nice to meet you Saraiel.”

"Thingol is controling and his followers narrow minded. For the most part. The interesting ones all leave.” Saeros stood a little straighter after being called wise. He was increasingly sure that there was a certain way of thinking to which he and his friends alone were party.
“Stay close by me when we cross the Esgalduin.”
“If he is narrow minded then it is no wonder people leave. I would not want to stay with someone who ignored my words,” She said and then smiled and ran over to him, taking his hand as he told her to stay close. She didn’t mind being close before they crossed.
dunnalad// Saeriel has grown lanky in her time away, but still has the found face of an elfling, "Uncle Saeros, I have missed you so."
Child, how you have grown! Where were you? Did you travel with Amras?

Seeing the flute he smiled warmly and looked it over. He could see the care that had gone into making it though it seemed like the person who made it wasn’t used to making instruments. “I see. Do you have a favorite song you like to play? I know when I was little I loved to hear a song about the stars.”
Saraiel looked at her flute for a moment then moved it to her mouth and started to play. A few notes were off, but she had the pacing right as she played a lullaby that Cana once did for the twins to help them fall asleep. Her fingers were not as graceful as a taught musician but she seemed to have fun all the same.

“Are you sure your amme would be okay with it?” He asked, he really didn’t want to have someone upset with him for taking their daughter out to see some wolves. Sure Orome might vouch for him but not everyone was satisfied with that. Tyelpinya poked her head out of his hood and yipped seeing Saraiel so Tyleca pulled her out and set the puppy on the ground so she could sniff at her.
“Amme Telvo said... said that as long as I am with family I can go out with them, but if I want to go alone to let him know,” She said, remembering the rules, Telvo was willing to let her be free but wanted to know she was watched over or safe, “And you are family.”

Seeing how she looked around he leaned a little closer to her. Her answer brought a bright grin to his face though and he nodded happily. There had been a stigma against wolves because of their association with Morgoth and Sauron so finding someone else who liked them made Tyelca quite happy. “Me too. Wolves are really pretty. I know where a wolf den is, if your amme doesn’t mind I can take you to see them later.”
“Can we go now?” She asked excitedly, Telvo never seemed to mind when a mood took her and she wanted to explore something. Especially not if she was with one of his brothers, “Amme trusts you, so we can go?” She hoped he would take her, wanting to see the den and maybe even get to touch one of the wolves.

“They are very well made. Your amme taught you how to make them very well.” Tyelca thought it was her amme that taught her how to make arrows anyways, but if not she would probably correct him. “Do you have an animal that you like to see?”
She grinned, pleased that Telvo had taught her well how to make arrows, even if she personally did not eat meat she used the fur and skin and bone of animals for other things. And plenty of elves ate meat. Saraiel looked around at his question, as if worried that someone might here and not like her answer before looking up at him again, “I think wolves are pretty,” She told him, most would tell her squirrels or bunnies were cute, but wolves were regal.
