“Well, I’ll let you decide. If she doesn't want to go out into town with me, that’s fine. You can let her know I’m that girl’s father. And see if she wants to come.” Meeting this master would be nice.. To talk to her more. But he didn’t want to tear her away from her work. So he would wait patiently for the servant to return.
“I have to ask master if I ever want to go out, and she has to accompany me to the city~.” The dragon informed him, if her tale could be out in the public and in front of beings that she didn’t know it would be wagging. If only she didn’t have to ask her master. But she was use to it, and she enjoyed getting permission from her.
“So unless you want someone like my master to join you walking to the city, then I can see if she’s in the mood to go for a walk and clear her head!”

“Thanks for the directions.. I hope she will still be there. Though, you’re welcome to come with. I mean, it’d be nice for some company.” Usually he was used to being alone. It was how he was. But having that little bird in his world now, it was a bit strange to be alone.. The fact she would follow him everywhere he went.. He was really a father to her. And she was his daughter to him.
“But if you don’t want to come, that is fine. I can just look on my own.” In a way he would like to speak about Jay to this master character. Just to know what condition she was in.
Sanako never kept tabs on the girl after they parted ways. But at least for the mans sake she remembered the pink haired girl; mainly for the sheer fact that Sarah seemed to be like her, minus the lack of emotions.
“Right straight that way.” The dragon cooed, pointing towards the city that was in view, barely. A smile was on her lips, golden eyes drifting towards the buildings. “Just keep straight on the path and the city in your sights, and you can reach it~.”
Sarah would have to ask her own master if she was allowed to wander into the city in accompany with a stranger. It happened, but at the same time it was the rules set out for her.

Clyde bit his lip for a moment. A week ago? Damn, she could be anywhere with that much time. But it wouldn’t hurt to check, right? Maybe she found a place to stay for a bit.. but he highly doubted it.
“I doubt she’s there anymore... But it wouldn’t hurt to check I guess... What direction is the city in? I’m sure I can find it on my own..”
Though, if the other being wanted to show him, then he wouldn’t stop her. But he was more use to travel alone. So if she tagged a long, there would be little conversation.
Even if the demon had a slightly horrible memory with names and faces, given her long life, she remembered certain smells of certain people. She wasn’t at least going to forget someone who smelled of demons and chocolate.
Rolling her shoulders, the dragon tilted her head ever so slightly. Her pointer finger going to her lips, as if she was thinking.
“Master said around a week ago in front of the bookstore? Something about being asked for chocolates and offering my chocolates that I find.”
It didn’t matter to Sarah if she wasn’t his biological daughter or not; Sanako and herself got raised by a ghost because their parents died. So it wasn’t unusual.

Feeling the hand on his, the he clasped his hand around the smaller one. He was fine if the girl held his hand or clung to him.
There she goes. Repeating the phrase over and over again. At first he was annoyed by it. But by now, he was used to it. Letting it pass through one ear and out the other.
At least she seemed like she was having fun. But soon the older demon halted when they reached an open field that bright flowers were scattered everywhere. He continued forward once more, only to flopped down into the grass. Patting the seat next to him for the girl to sit down.
“Wanna learn how to make flower crowns?” he asked... He knew he would regret showing her...
Keeping a blank face, the little demon ran up to Clydes side, taking him by the hand. She was never sure if he was comfortable with the clingy nature she exuded, but nevertheless she didn’t seem to care. Holding onto him made Jay feel so…comfortable.
❤”Surprise!”❤
Jay repeated once. Following in her fathers footsteps. And once the silence between them passed, Jay began to show a bounce within her steps, softly repeating specific words again.
Surprise. Where. We. Go. Surprise. Where. We. Go.
…once again, she just couldn’t stop her repetition.

Clyde rocked on his heels as he watched the stranger slip away to go ask this master of hers. Hopefully this girl saw her somewhere. She wasn’t hard to miss. With long pink hair and wearing white dresses.
His eyes widened when she confirmed that she was seen. It gave him a shimmer of hope that he could find her before she caused any trouble.. or got harmed.
“Great! How long ago was it? I need to know if she’s still there. Jay is my daughter and she can’t be outside for long.. she’s too young to be on her own.”
Jay wasn’t his biological daughter. But to him-- she was his, and his child. He raised her, taught her how to speak, and loved her.
“I will at least ask her if she wants to answer your question.” The dragon chimed with a coo, before drifting from the door. Leaving it open slightly enough for when she transofrmed to go running towards her master? Her tail snaked out quickly.
A few minutes passed, before the dragon returned, human form back in tact.
“Master says she remembers seeing someone with white lolita and pink hair in the city. She remembers giving her candy so she could question her on why she had the smell of her kind lingering on her clothes and why her own scent consisted of sugar and chocolate from France.”

“Oh... Well.. I can see why she would be in a bad mood. Though I would prefer to ask her myself.. Seems a bit rude to me to just have someone else ask a questions. And I can maybe provide some assistance in getting the money from customers.”
But really, the dragon could choose what she wanted to do. No one was stopping her.
“Master is having a bad day today with customers, mainly with them not paying in full.” The dragon chimed, giving the best answer that she could without giving anything away on what her owner actually did.
A smile, void of almost all emotion appeared on the dragons lips. “I can still ask though! I’m sure she wouldn’t mind if I asked.”

For Clyde.. at first he was just going to keep her until he grew bored of her.. But for some reason, this girl just clicked with him. He liked having her to stick around him. To take care of her. Be alone with her. So he decided he would be her father. And his wife would have to deal with it if he came back home. He wouldn’t budge on letting this girl go.
“I know you will~,” he chirped. And in a way.. teaching her how to talk and write-- it gave him his own excitement. As for where to go.. he titled his head up in thought. They’ve already been to the beach... Though, there was a nice open field not far from where they stood. A nice place to just star gaze and could watch. Not to mention all the flowers. He could easily show her how to make flower crowns.... thought he had a feeling that if he showed her, she would make.. a lot.. and probably put them all on his head.
“It will be a surprise on where we go.”
Clyde walked with a quick gait. A little thrilled to spend time with someone he loved in that field. And he could just talk to her all day.. Let her pick up more words.
Clyde knew that with practice, she would learn how to speak properly. Sure she was a bit.. well late, but she was all alone. So no one could teach her words since she had none to pick up from.
The demon twisted his hand to hold her wrist in turn. Only to quickly pick her up into his arm. Leaving the free hand to clutch the cigarette in his mouth.
“Well.. probably,” he said with a shrug. “Though I learned eventually. As well as you.”
Soon he figured that he should teach her about writing.. It could help her out learning words and their meaning. It’d take time– but he would love to spend that time to bond with the girl more.

“Well, if that girl was your master who shut the door on me, she probably won’t give me an answer. Though, I will offer her any assistance if she needs any in return for such information.”
Jay had to be somewhere. She wasn’t so skilled in the portal bit. So she couldn’t have gotten too far...
Sanako…Kind of had the tendency to be rude, but it always just based on the mood that she was in. As of currently, she was stuck in a rut and didn’t believe gracing anyone with a conversation was something worth her time. So she passed it off to Sarah.
“I could ask my master! She tends to get out more because of her business, maybe she ran into her.”

Well.. that was rude.. All he had was a single question to ask. But when he was about to turn around and leave, he heard the door creak open. His head twisted towards the girl. A puff of smoke exiting his nostril.
“I wanted to know if you people-- by any chance, have seen a young girl with long pink hair. I’m looking for her.”

Annnd…
Sanako just shuts the door right in the face of the male, deciding not to even interact. A few seconds later? The door was opened again, this time by a different female; the demon’s dragon.
“Yes?”

Admittedly, the smaller demon felt… embarrassed. Taking a hold of Clydes wrist as he pressed his hand against her head, Jay pondered what he must have sounded like at her age.
He had told her at one point that it was normal for demons to speak this way when they were so young. It was part of growing and developing.
Even so…Jay wanted nothing more than to sound normal. Like him.
{{❤}} “…Clyde…bad speaking? When as small as me?”

So.. she knew where Jay was? But didn’t tell him any sooner? Though, he should have figured that she wouldn’t say anything until it was brought up. Sure Jay got lost a bit.. but if his wife knew where she was.. ugh.. he just wished she notified him about it.
“Where is she?” His tone had a hint of demand into it. The sooner that he got Jay back, the better. And for him too.. He missed his bird being around.. It’s been too long since he’s seen her. Too long for him at least. In a way, he felt alone again.
{{☥}} “…yeah. Ok.”
Taking a seat in the kitchen, Kanika began to down the drink she’d whipped out from the fridge, only to shudder moments later. She’d be spitting that back out quite soon.
For the time being, she gave Clyde a glare, leaning in against the table with a bit of judgment.
{{☥}} “That girl can’t walk down the road alone without getting lost. And you know that. But I digress… …I know where she is, actually. But…ah…I’ve yet to find out WHY she’s where she is.”

“Kind of talking to myself there. Didn’t know you were out of your room.”
Of course he heard the sarcasm dripping in her tone. But unlike Kanika, he was a bit.. worried about her. She’s been gone for a while now. And he hasn’t gotten a single sight of her.. But then again, he once left the house for a while. So maybe she was doing the same?
“Aaaaw, no need to be so harsh! I know Jay can take care of herself.. and find her way home...”
{{☥}} “Gee. Really? Couldn’t tell with how quiet it is around here.”
The succubus was CLEARLY being sarcastic. With a bit of a slam, she came up from behind the refrigerator door with a drink in her hand, not really caring much for the other succubus’ absence.
{{☥}} “I’m surprised you aren’t going completely insane over it.”

He had to give her credit. She did improve on her words and stringing them together. But he felt a bit bad for telling her to stop-- in a way.
The older demon patted the top of the girls head, puffing out a stream of smoke from the corner of his mouth. “You will, it just takes time to learn how to speak. You’re doing better than I was when speaking!”
“I love that you can talk Jay.. but you don’t have to go sayin’ the same word.. over… and over… and over again.”
