I'm obsessed with the way different architectural styles reflect different aspects of God.
Like, gothic? The spires and the stained glass and the pointed arches? The gargoyles on the outside of churches, signifying that the demons can't enter into a sacred space? It's grand, almost foreboding. It sings in the piercing, ethereal song of the dryads of old, "He is not safe, but He is good."

And then there is romanesque, and it is God as fortress, God as bulwark. Round arches, heavy stones. Sturdy, safety, support. It sings in low Gregorian chant, "God is my strong tower, my refuge."

And then there is Baroque. And your breath stalls in your throat, and your heart does something strange because, oh—oh this must be what heaven looks like. It's dazzling, marvelous, almost a dream. And its song is not in words because there are no words to express it except "Sanctus, sanctus, sanctus." But its chorus is celestial all the same. It is God as Divine Beauty, the source from which all beauty flows.

The Sallet or Salade — a common type of helmet worn throughout Europe in the 15th-16th centuries.
The Sallet varied enormously in style depending on national preferences and ever changing military developments. They were worn by knights, archers and foot soldiers alike. Some Sallets had slitted visors and others were open-faced.

The mercs and cute semi-aquatic creatures :) [left to right: otter, muskrat, seal, tapir, beaver, capybara, puffin, platypus, mink, pygmy hippo]
I only plan for semiaquatic mammals, but i couldnt find one that fits medic, so he gets a bird
Scout: Otters are sleek, fast and cool Soldier: I want something similar to raccoons. Muskrats are also native to north AMERICA! Pyro: I think he would like seals. They are round and look huggable Demo: Tapir in japanese folklore are said to eat nightmares. For someone who passes out a lot, i think it's a good fit. Engineer: Beavers can build Heavy: Capybara is square-shaped and chill Medic: I think he would like any types of aquatic birds. I pick puffins cause they are cool! Fly, swim, dive, burrow, they can do anything! Sniper: Pretty predictable lol. Platypuses are australia native Spy: Mink. Small yet a deadly hunter
SNIPER THE PLATYPUS??!?!?

The WS-1300 seems to be the most overlooked watch in Casio's current lineup. I can see why the looks might not be universally adored, but it's mild when it comes to pseudo-gshocks. It has basically every feature anyone would ever want from a digital watch.
(multiple alarms, snooze, date alarm, dual time, timer, stopwatch, moon and tide, 10 year battery, cheap-ish)
the other one is just a love letter to my childhood watch, partially to blame for this hyperfocus.
