Like Garnok, I too wish I was asleep for eons at the moment.

(Is that even still the current lore, that Garnok is asleep and Dark Core is trying to wake him up? Or have they fully swapped over to just trying to 'free' him with no references to him sleeping anymore?)

🌱 Hello everyone!

I'm back with a drawing after a long break. A long one—because I almost stopped drawing due to a lack of motivation to create anything related to the world of Star Stable Online.

Where I hit an art block with drawing, I found a burst of inspiration for writing stories instead. In January, I published the first chapter, and I’m really glad I made it happen.

I plan to continue developing my sso fanfic with new chapters every 2–3 months.

As for this account… activity has dropped significantly. Instagram’s algorithm is ruthless, and I don’t have the energy to fight it.

I’ll post new content when I have something cool ready… and that’s it.

The illustration above refers to the second chapter, and I'm proud to share it with you.

This time, I combined Paint Tool SAI and Ibis Paint X more closely, which led to some issues—mainly because Ibis struggles with large canvas sizes and some files ended up crashed.

Despite the bumpy workflow, I’m happy with the result! I got to edit part of the drawing in Ibis and improved it using textured brushes (yes, I even made a custom leaf brush just for this piece, lol).

I have also translated a part of my own text for you to better understand the context of this illustration.

This is the moment Mr. Sands (then Owen D. Sands) entered the afterlife after an unexpected tragedy: an explosion collapsed the new Deep Core's shaft and the building on the surface. The immortal never expected that wherever he ended up, the goddess herself would be waiting for him.

This idiot is also from the from the 1983 Arco/Fleetwood toy line vaguely associated with the R-rated fantasy film The Sword and the Sorcerer. I have no idea what it is. It combines the features of a dragon, a unicorn and some sort of finny sea creature. It is probably the toy I own that most looks like a beast of heraldry. I like it. He features a particularly sloppy paint job and the green plastic is a pleasing tone. They say green is calming!
