there was a great study a few years that went into the whole "ppl online are bigger jerks than irl cuz theres a virtual wall and no repercussions" and the researchers were expecting to see that be the case but it turns out that people who were really angry or argumentative online were also found to just be assholes in person and people who were pretty patient and nice online were found to be patient and nice in real person as well

and it just debunked that whole cynical idea that people will naturally be mean if theres no punishment for it

Tenets of Joy

The earth does not hate the rain when it feeds the soil. The leaf does not scowl at the sun for its nourishing rays. There is joy inherent to life, even in the most dire of times. One should not be blind to the true state of the world around them, but seek to bring out the smile of others in spite of pain or fear. Look for the joy in all things, but do not let it distract you from the suffering of others. For there is plenty of both to be found in the world. Seek not authority, but responsibility. Authority is a power the prideful use against the weak, but responsibility comes with awareness and true strength. No one is born or created into this world by their own hand, we all come into this world delicate. All who travel under the sun and the stars are equal, and that includes yourself. Know this and be humble. Doubt is not a personal failing. To be uncertain of your own path is to have the opportunity to reflect on your actions and adjust your way forward. Doubt is the shadow that wisdom casts. Drink plenty of water, stretch often and take naps when you need to.
