Kyonghwan Kim is an korean concept artist that her art inspired a lots from 2 legendary artists : Hayao Miyazaki and Yoshitaka Amano. and the source light signature from Hayao Miyazaki. Her arts are great source for my inspirations.
All of her arts are always has a pencil stroke left on the character and environment and with richly textured figurative illustrations . She has recreated what Yoshitaka Amano art style is .
The second important element of her art is the light source with bright and colorful. The light is come from a side of the canvas. Usually From top to bottom. From left to right and sometime from bottom to top. The color she chooses is colorful, somehow cartoonish. Bring up the style of Hayao Miyazaki who is director of Ghilibi studio. The water color technique is also bring up the life of the painting.
