Gallery Exhibition: March 9 - April 14, 2013 Opening Reception: Thursday, March 21 ~ 7 to 9 pm Exhibition Curator: Megan Press
The Living Arts Centre Resident Artists challenge viewers’ preconceptions of material practice in a wide range of media through an investigation of the presence of opposing ideas and tendencies. SWITCH is an exploration of what happens when polarities are held in creative tension with one another as art. Resident Artists include: Matthew Agostinis, Alex Anagnostou, Masoud Barihi, Tommy Cudmore, Maciej Dyszkiewicz, Kurt Fisher, Melodie Flook, Alyssa Getz, Natasha Gouveia, Cathy Griggs, Pat Hertzberg, Catherine Hibbits, Jolanta Jung, Noni Kaur, Karen Krupa, Amelia Levick, Michelle Lewin, Susan Qu, Ishrat Raza Suhrwardy, Paula Vandermey, James Wardhaugh and Jean Willoughby.
