No Co-Sign, Just Don Julio and a Hard Drive Full of Dreams
by Dior Worthy
I’m not waiting on a co-sign.
Not waiting on a label deal, a playlist placement, or some industry insider to tell me I’m “next.”
I’m done asking for validation from people who can’t see past follower counts.
Right now, it’s just me.
An aux cord.
Some Don Julio.
And a hard drive full of work-in-progress joints that mean the world to me.
I’m throwing a private party. Not a clout-chasing function or a “networking” event.
This ain’t a pitch. It’s a moment.
I’m playing my unreleased music straight off the aux.
No polish, no press run, no big machine behind it.
Just the art. Just the vibe. Just the truth.
And to be real — I don’t care who pulls up.
Because the people who do?
The ones who show up for me now — not when it’s trendy, not when it’s safe, but while it’s still raw?
Y’all matter more than anything.
This night is for you.
The realest supporters. The early believers.
The ones who repost without asking. Who show up with love. Who see the vision before it’s clear.
We gon’ drink. We gon’ laugh.
We gon’ talk sh*t and dance and let the speakers breathe.
We gon’ feel something again.
Because I’m tired of playing the industry’s game.
Tired of waiting for the door to open.
So I’m building my own room. And filling it with love, sound, and purpose.
This summer, I’m not just performing.
I’m building.
BUK is throwing BBQs, pop-ups, private shows, real-life experiences that remind you why you ever cared about music in the first place.
So if you’re reading this and you feel that fire too — that itch to create, to connect, to belong —
then come be a part of it.
BUK isn’t just a label. It’s a movement.
And it starts right here.
Right now.
No co-sign. Just soul.
