As he was moved James began to stir, his eyes cracking open as soft blue eyes met her own. There was a moment of silence, the half human seemingly trying to work out if this was a dream when his hand caught her wrist.

     Damnit, he’d woken up. Her eyes closed, briefly, and she sank to her knees next to him,

     “Hello, James. I had hoped to be here, and gone, before you woke. It .. is not my intention to disturb your life further.” He still had hold of her wrist, and while it wasn’t a firm hold and she could get away at any point, there was not an ounce of a desire to be rough with him. Never with James.

     Demona tilted her head, watching him, unsure what to say. The Grimorum had reacted negatively to a spell, and she’d been thrust into the Void for who knew how long. How did you explain that?
