Take it from someone who has started a calorie deficit many times and stuck to it:
1. The first three days, you will be starving. It will be constant. It will suck. I cannot sugarcoat it.
But the good news is it doesn’t stay that miserable forever.
2. The first week you will have food noise. The physical hunger will go away, and the mental hunger will almost be worse. Do not give in or you will have to start at step one again.
3. After a week it starts to become a habit. The food noise is still there. But you have learned not to listen to it. You have learned to distract yourself with other things that you enjoy. (Since eating is not that much fun anyway)
4. After two weeks, it will become a habit.
Even if it seems hard to start back up again after a binge or a period of over eating, those first few days are the hardest. If you’re stuck in a binge restrict cycle, you’re never gonna get past that point of hunger and food noise.
Trust me, it’s worth it.

6/11 day one of the liquid diet. had water and tomato soup.
6/12 day two of the liquid diet. had a coffee, water, smoothie and tomato soup.
i’m overweight but my stomach is pretty flat after two days of this, all things considered. bowel movements have been normal, just expelling whatever solids were left in my stomach.
lets see how i feel next wednesday. weighed myself yesterday and i was 240, today i’m 241.1 but i also just drank my meal so. i know first its gonna be water weight so, lets just take it week by week

Pumpkin Soup
Quick Pumpkin Soup for One
Ingredients:
8oz pumpkin puree
1/8 cup diced onion
2tsp minced garlic
8-12oz water
1-2tbsp olive oil
Bouillon cube, nutmeg, clove, turmeric, salt, pepper
Sauté garlic and onion in olive oil until fragrant
Add salt, pepper, nutmeg, turmeric, and clove and cook over low heat
To a pot, add pumpkin puree, water, and a bouillon cube (I used a chicken bouillon cube)
Stir together and bring to a boil. Add onion and garlic mix.
Top with parmesean cheese and cinnamon.
Enjoy!

This turned out super flavorful. I wish I had more, but I only had 8oz of puree. The amount of water you add will determine how thick you want the soup to be.
