I was mostly following the recipe.” Jennie laughed, then rolled her shoulders into a shrug. “A mistake I won’t make again.” She really wanted to impress her brother when he came over, and Jennie figured that since he appeared to be a good cook it would have been nice to share an interest. Not that Jennie had ever cooked for herself or for someone else up until now. A giggle slipped past her lips upon hearing his words. “Give it a day or two, your tastebuds will be restored.” Jennie grinned at him, then shrugged. “Jjamppong.” The brunette replied once she had everything set up again. If Jen was anything then it was prepared for the worst. She had actually calculated the odds of her dish going wrong and how right had she been. “Do you know how to make it?”

(ღ) — Nymeria could only think of one thing and that was how hard it must be to have that gift. To help deceased people and their remaining relatives. She couldn’t help but to wrinkle her nose. It was definitely not a gift Nymeria wanted. “She clearly wasn’t thinking very hard because how could she get his first kiss to her if it was you kissing him?” A laugh escaped her lips as she shook her head. “That sounds ridiculous.” That example did amuse Nymeria but she wondered if it lived up to the downside she saw too it. “It must be a burden sometimes too, to see all those spirits around.” She hummed. Nymeria herself was more than glad with just her magic abilities. “Were you born with it or was it something that you learned to? Or did it just happen to you at some point?” She inquired curiously.

"Jennie!!" For once, Hyunshik didn't mind that he appeared in front of his friend's house without actually wanting to see him. It felt strange in a way but surely was justified. After all, who suspected innocent birthday wishes? Not that he had anything to hide, other than his growing feelings towards his friend's sister. With a small box in his hands, he waited until she opened the door, smiling apologetically. "I'm sorry I forgot but to make up for it, I got you this bracelet. Happy birthday!"
“Coming!” Jennie called, rushing down from her room because apparently both her parents and her brother seemed to have left her alone. On her birthday of all days. Though perhaps they were planning something, which was really a transparent thing to do. “Hyunshik!” She beamed up at him and stepped aside to let him in. “Well, I was expecting some happy birthday texts from you this morning but sadly…” Jennie trailed of, grinning up at him for a moment before she opened the box. “Oh wow! You’re more than forgiven, this is so pretty.. Thank you!” She smiled widely, holding the box with the bracelet in it tightly as she hugged him. “You’re the best.”
