Shoot 2: 12/12/20 Reaction
Looking back at my images from the shoot in Hartley Wintney Football Club and I feel that I have captured images that link to the work of Thomas Prior because of the different actions and reactions I managed to capture from the players. However I feel that I could have captured more photos of the environment and the ground and maybe could have adjusted the portraits for them to really stand out.

Shoot 4: 4/12/20

A selection of images from my fourth shoot at Duke鈥檚 Meadow Golf Course. I managed get a selection of action shots and reactions from the subject teeing off. I feel I managed to get some action shots but I didn鈥檛 focus the light enough for the focal point and the lighting from the day didn鈥檛 help from the weather.

UPDATE: 4/11/20
Given the recent government announcement of a second lockdown I will be very limited in able to capture further images for the next month. With restrictions, team sport was to cease for the month and being only able to meet with one person; I am unable to capture photos regarding Cricket and Football. I will be looking to see if Golf is possible given individual sport is allowed but I may only be able to take photos of practice shots instead of a round because of the number of people involved.

Shoot 1, Part 4: Environment

Part 4 of my second shoot involves the environment where the players are training. In this case it is the cricket nets that players practice their bowling and their batting. The idea of nets is to be able to practice and not lose the cricket balls but also the idea of practising in a enclosed environment. In a net having a ball bowled at 50-60 miles per hour feels like the ball is being bowled at 70-80 miles per hour simply because of how enclosed the space it. I have selected images of the nets in-between the players and images showing the size of the nets and the environment.

Shoot 3, part 1: Bowling Action

For my third shoot I have also split my images into different sections. In this part 聽I have selected images of the actions of the bowlers. The images show unorthodox angles that the bowlers take and it almost seems like they could be dancing or figure skating.

Shoot 3
For my third shoot I was doing more cricket nets but had to travel to Clapham Common as the nets at Barn Elms closed with the threat of Lockdown around the corner. In this shoot I would look back at my previous shoots and see what I need to work on to get what I am looking for.

First two shoots Reaction
After analysing my first two shoots I have found positives from the shoots and the idea which can link to the work of Thomas Prior. I have found images that can show how my work shows the actions from Cricket that may be missed by the naked eye. This includes the angle of the bowlers and how far the lean or their arm movements. I also captured the angles of the batsmen and their actions. Finally, I captured portraits of the players before, during and after the play which may get missed by the naked eye. However I feel I need to make the subjects more of the focal point and be able to capture the environment and be able to create unique reactions that would stand out.

Shoot 2, Part 3: Bowlers

Third and final part of my second shoot which involves the bowlers and their actions. I have selected these images because they demonstrate the unorthodox actions the bowlers do to try and get the batsmen out.
