Really the first episode of Daredevil broke my heart, because I loved the friendship between Mat and Foggy, also I loved dynamic Foggy, Matt and Karen. After it'll never be the same for me.

Also, can we just really take in the true excellence and impact of Michonne’s character.
She’s a black woman whose story isn’t defined by the hardship of being a black woman.
She’s given incredible emotional range. She’s absolutely badass and strong, but not stoic and stiff. She’s allowed to be as compassionate and nurturing as she is fierce. She expresses grief, loss, anger, pettiness and annoyance; she also expresses hope, love, devotion, loyalty, and bravery. She’s tough and hardcore, but also soft and feminine.
She’s not the sassy best friend. She’s not the magical negro. She’s not the stepping stone for the male MC to decide he doesn’t want. She’s not forgettable or disposable. She can challenge white characters (including the main man) without the writing trying to humble or punish her.
She’s pivotal (the ratings and fan engagement prove that). She’s desirable. She isn’t chasing after a man who barely considers her to own detriment. Her love interest loves her unconditionally. He respects her and wants her in EVERY way. He dreams of her. He can’t truly live without her.
THIS is an immaculate character, brought to life by an incredible actress who is valued in production, and backed by the narrative. THIS is what characters such as Bonnie Bennett and Abbie Mills (amongst others) deserved. THIS is what we want to see.

You can say that. I completely agree
i cannot stand the fact adap Chishiya is a Hearts player, sowz. it's clear to me the adap writers completely misunderstood what makes someone a Hearts player in the first place and ran with it.
Chishiya can read others emotions to some extent, sure, but not in-depth enough to sympathize.
you wanna know why Chishiya (and Niragi) are Diamonds players? because they don't care enough to truly understand the hearts of others. they manipulate situations, not (usually) out of desperation, but because it's all they know. they lack a genuine understanding with others.
(adap) Arisu being a Diamonds player also completely misses the point: Arisu is so similar to Chishiya and Niragi that if, at any point prior to the Borderlands, he had one more thing go wrong, he could've ended up like the two of them; but he didn't because he refused to be like that.
Arisu is a Hearts player because he's both smarter than he gives himself credit for, and emotionally mature enough to take to heart (wink wink) the emotions of others and actively put himself in their shoes to get through a game.
that last reason is why Matsushita Enji is such a lousey Hearts player, because, like Chishiya and Niragi, he isn't emotionally mature enough to truly be good at Hearts. he has great setups, sure, but he's too proud to acknowledge other players and their inteligence, which is why he was ultimately defeated by Yaba and Banda.
Yaba and Banda both come from backgrounds where they need to read others to some extent: Yaba, a CEO who climbed the corporate ladder by reading others and using those emotions to his advantage (as we saw happen with Arisu when he was confronted by the militants), and Banda, a misogynistic murderer who got into the houses of women he killed, needed to be agile enough to get them to trust him by manipulating the situation in his favor, all while keeping in mind the emotions of those he killed.
Hearts games are not won by sheer manipulation, as we saw with Enji and Urumi; there needs to be a level of connection with others if you want to survive, which is also why Mitsurugi's defeat was so upsetting; ideally, he did everything right, but ultimately was a bit too confident in his plan and thus, refused to acknowledge the power the other players had. he was too good of a person.
Mira is a bit of an outlier, not because she was bad at the games or anything, but because she's the perfect mix of both understanding and master manipulator; if she went up against any other player in the Borderlands, they would easily lose. Arisu almost lost too, but as we've established, Hearts games are built off connections with others and Usagi was needed in order to make it.
I'm sure Mira was well-aware of that fact, especially with Arisu, but her ulimate failure was the same as Mitsurugi's: she ended up downplaying the connection between him and Usagi. Hearts games need love, level-headedness, mild manipulation, and an open mind if you intend to win.
going back to my main point, that's why Chishiya either avoids Hearts games all together, manipulates people during them, or turns to violence; he lacks the emotional maturity and agency to clear one the way they are meant to be cleared, why Arisu is a much better Hearts player than Chishiya will ever be, and why the adap writers completely misunderstood that point.

I think people are forgetting that Chishiya’s name isn’t Chishiya. Chishiya is his last name guys. His first name is Shuntaro. Asian culture puts last names first and then first names. In Japan you only call people by their first names if youre family or really close.
Just a little reminder/info for you all (:

Thinking again about how Suzanne esentially subverted the "beloved famous man that is actually a horrible person in real life" with Finnick, who is the complete opposite of that.
Finnick has this whole image costructed around him by the people that abused him for years: the Capitol's darling, their golden boy, the sex symbol of Panem, the man that has countless lovers but leaves them constantly and doesn't look back etc. And you would expect, initially, to meet a man that retains at least a part of that persona in his day to day life. But Finnick doesn't, not even one bit.
You see instead a man that is deeply in love and completely devoted to the one woman he quite literally adores, a man that protects Mags, his old mentor and his mother figure, as much as he can, a man that wouldn't leave Johanna behind, a man that gathers whatever strenght he has left to speak publicly about the abuse inflicted upon him at the government's hands; the opposite of what the Capitol's media and reputation made him out to be.

Okay, I feel like there is a problem among AIB fans, especially those in the Latin community, and here's my explanation.
Well, first of all, some of the fans did not like the news of season 3 of AIB and some did, in this case I am a Latin fan of this series because basically I prefer that the main people do not appear or that the new season is based in the spin offs, but given the case that the latter is not going to be done, apparently there is a problem and that is that I think it is likely that Netflix will ruin it (I hope it doesn't) in the meantime because some fans of the series who don't They have read the manga and have only seen the series, they basically say "well, don't watch it" referring to season 3, they say this when they see some comment that does not agree with season 3. Which I think is wrong because they do not see the other's point of view and I feel that they do not understand the point of the fans who are concerned about the series.
I really hope Netflix makes a good third season.
