this guy on r/legaladvice got fired after dressing as a dangan ronpa character for a costume contest and when he asked his boss what the fuck was going on they replied, in essence, “you know what you did”

When making a character, an excellent way to characterize them is to think about their speech. Do they have any favorite sayings? Any kind of noticeable accent, or a lisp or a speech impediment? What languages do they speak, and if it’s more than one, do they ever mix-n-match like bilingual speakers (and trilingual and etc) tend to do? Are they soft-spoken, or loud? Do their words emit more of a glum energy, or a peppy one?
This of course, also applies to speech that isn’t necessarily vocal. If they write letters, their handwriting can speak volumes to those who know what to look for. And, of course, if they have access to some manner of text-based communication via technology, their grammar, spelling, punctuation, and capitalization (or lack of those things) can convey all sorts of things! This also has the added benefit of being easier to convey via a written story than an accent or a method of handwriting.
Some examples of text-based characterizations:
Replacing letters with numbers for a manner of “leetspeak”. This can be one letter, like replacing O with 0, or B with 8, or multiple, such as A with 4 and E with 3.
Using punctuation symbols in unusual ways, such as ending sentences with commas instead of periods, or replacing X sounds with a % sign, or choosing to use symbols depicting letters instead of actual letters (such as using “)(” instead of an “H”)
Replacement of certain words or phrases with numerical equivalent. For example, using the number 2 instead of the word “two”, or 8 for a syllable pronounced “ate”.
THE USAGE OF ALL CAPS, no caps, Or Something In Between can be a very revealing personality trait, in addition imitating tone of voice in a text-based medium. IN ADDITION, IT CAN SERVE ANOTHER FUNCTION: a sudden shift in caps usage to convey a strong shift in mood.
Usage of emoticons, which can be standard (”0_0″ to show shock or dumfoundedness, or :B to show a smile with buckteeth) and unique (:3 as a cat face instead of a kissy face, or  >:] as a smile with visible eyebrows)
Intentional misspellings, such as characters doubling up on certain letters in their wwords. Accidental misspellings, such as typing “sigh” as “sign”, also are good on occasion, as they are more realistic. Also realistic are other characters pointing out the errors and making fun of them, as you might know if you’ve ever been in a group chat.
Intentional grammar errors, such as separation of compound words (Instead of “fireman”, “fire man”, or “amiss” as “a miss”)
Puns and jokes! Don’t be afraid to have your characters say dumb things for the sake of laughs, if you think that’s how they roll. (For example, a character who considers himself a “bro” might refer to a guard shift as a “brotation”.)
These are all excellent ways of fleshing out your character. I really hope you guys find this as helpful as I have!

that was just a reaction image. thats it. it was an image agreeing with the ops post. they werent spreading misinformation. its like when youre talking to someone about your clothes and they say “oh yeah this weather is really stormy”
wild and unfamiliar concept for tumblr dot com:
making your very own super special negative post, as opposed to shitting and vomiting your negative energy all over someone’s positive post.

seems... contrived. you wouldnt use “enfeeble” in an everyday conversation. same as “higgledy-piggledy”. just seems like youre trying too hard mate.
a list of words you can use to describe your mental illness/disability, instead of cr*pple:
debilitate    *debilitating    *debilitated        “my psychosis is really debilitating today.”
crush    *crushing    *crushed         “i experience crushing anxiety.”
enervate    *enervating    *enervated         “i suffer from enervating depression.”
enfeeble    *enfeebling    *enfeebled           “today is not a good day. I’m enfeebled by my pd!”
indisposed    *indisposing (not an actual word according to autocorrect, use it anyway.)         “this disorder / disability is very indisposing.”
impair    *impairing    *impaired         “i’m deeply impaired by my hallucinations today, so i can’t do this.”
drain    *draining    *drained         “i’m feeling very drained / this disorder / disability is very draining.”
incapacitate    *incapacitating    *incapacitated         “i am absolutely incapacitated by my disorder / disability”
devitalize    *devitalizing    *devitalized         “my disorder / disability is very devitalizing today.”
feel free to add more!
