Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo‘s return to television — and the NCIS franchise — now has an exact date. The upcoming spinoff NCIS: Tony & Ziva, in which the duo reprise their fan-favorite roles from the mothership series, will debut September 4 with three episodes exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and a number of territories. Following the premiere, new episodes will drop weekly on Thursdays, with the season finale October 23.

Paramount+ also has released a key art of NCIS: Tony & Ziva that reflects the series’ pan-European setting. In the offshoot, former NCIS agents Tony (Weatherly) and Ziva (de Pablo) had been raising their daughter in Paris when an attack on Tony’s security company sends them on the run across Europe, trying to figure out who is after them and maybe even learn to trust each other again so they can finally have their unconventional happily ever after.

Tony & Ziva is the first series in the NCIS franchise not to air on CBS. It is unclear yet whether the show will get a special airing on the network.

“We’re beyond excited to finally share Tony and Ziva’s next chapter with the incredible fans around the world who never stopped believing this day would come,” said de Pablo and Weatherly.

They also teased what is to come in the 10-episode first season. “Returning to these roles together on screen after more than a decade has been an unforgettable journey packed with lies, spies, danger, desire … and self-driving murder cars. (Don’t worry, that last one will make sense soon). This is one wild ride you won’t want to miss, and as they say in Paris: Accrochez-vous bien!“

That translates to “Brace yourself” or “Hold on tight” in English.

Fans have been holding tight while showing their enthusiasm for de Pablo and Weatherly’s reunion, with the teaser trailer for Tony & Ziva amassing 93 million views across broadcast, social and digital in the seven days following its May 5 release.

In addition to de Pablo and Weatherly, NCIS: Tony & Ziva stars Amita Suman, Maximilian Osinski, Lara Rossi, Isla Gie, Nassima Benchicou, Terence Maynard, Julian Ovenden and James D’Arcy. The series is executive produced by John McNamara, who serves as showrunner, de Pablo, Weatherly, Laurie Lieser, Christina Strain, Shelley Meals and Mairzee Almas. Tony & Ziva is produced by CBS Studios and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

You guys are so creative i hope you can help!

Do you have any ideas? The kids are meeting eachother and me (homeroomteacher/mentor) for the first time. Is there something we can make that can be kept in the classroom the whole year to reunited them a bit?

Looking for ideas in this category:Other class is painting planters that the kids take home with the instruction to bring it back after summer with a small plant for the classroom.

There were flowers, as promised. Orangey-yellow roses that had a name like sunset, or sunrise, he couldn’t remember what the cashier had said, but they looked pretty enough. But surrounding the blooms, as well as the standard baby’s breath, were several small, feathery green fronds.  “Ferns,” Ziva gasped, catching her breath. “Really?” She thumped him lightly with the flowers, still smiling.  Tony grinned. “I figured if you’re going to be thinking of our coffee counsellor every time you look at me from now on, might as well roll with it.” He shrugged. They’d been the last bunch of roses in the shop and he’d been seconds away from choosing the lilies till he’d caught sight of the greenery. He hadn’t laughed quite as hard, but the cashier had looked like they were about to call in a psych team and have him hauled away just the same.  Ziva shook her head, still laughing and lifted them to her face, inhaling the perfume. “They are beautiful, thank you.” The paper crinkled between them as she leaned in to kiss him again, humming contentedly. “The barber was definitely a good choice. Come in, I will put these in some water, and we can eat.”  He followed her through to the kitchen, to find a vase, already prepared and waiting by the sink. “Oh, someone’s sure of herself isn’t she?” he laughed.  Ziva rolled her eyes as she unwrapped the paper. “Maybe someone else is predictable. Pour the wine, Tony.”

The sound of a slow wooden creak stirred Tony from his fitful rest, his mind instantly awake and alert as he lifted himself up on one arm, the other protectively draped over the woman sharing his bed. His eyes scanned the shadows for an intruder, eventually settling on a familiar face framed by the light of a dim nightlight. “Sorry. Sorry, I can just talk to you in the morning—” Tony let out a breath, his shoulders releasing their tension at once. He glanced down to see if Ziva had awoken, but miraculously, it seemed she had slept through the intrusion. His hand idly trailed over the warm surface of her upper arm, an unconscious gesture of comfort that slowly brought his heart rate back down to normal.

my current (season 1 episode 4) impressions of all the Wheel of Time characters, partially so i can get their names in my head:

Moiraine: mysterious middle aged sorceress shows up, irrevocably changes your life, then passes out. whatever conflict she has with the other aes sedai is very juicy and i’m intrigued

Lan: Loyal SoldierTM but he does have some individual flare. why did he insist on taking them to Evil Darkness Abandoned City. I think he’s making up for that mistake though

Egwene: she’s shown a little bit of magical ability so far, and Moiraine seems to think she will be powerful. I love the choice she made in the first episode to be taught by Nynaeve and I love that she can communicate, she’s got love in her heart i’m slightly afraid for her

Nynaeve: oh I love this woman. she showed off some high power levels in episode 4, she tracked down Lan and Moiraine, she is badass and also completely overwhelmed which is a lovely combo

Rand: he pisses me off a little bit but I’ll let it slide because he’s going through some shit. are they ever going to explain his dad’s fancy sword in a box under the bed or did i miss that?

Perrin: so intrigued by him. so different from the average fantasy protagonist i feel like he’s kinda just along for the ride and wants to protect his friends. stop trying to sacrifice yourself bitch

Mat: his name is too normal. also the darkness is consuming him and it’s freaky. should not have stolen that dagger dude!
