The second piece I contributed to the @mcyt-couture-zine , this one in collaboration with the incredible @earlrot ! I did the lines, he did the gorgeous colors/rendering, and we both brainstormed together on the outfit design. It was super super fun to collaborate with Earlrot on this artwork (everybody go compliment him rn!!!) and I absolutely adore how it came out :D

Neoliberal country when the election goes a little less wrong 😇:

hooray!! we've elected the liberals 51/49 meaning we've defeated the fascists once and for all!! now that we, the very leftist government the liberals are in charge, we are still going to work with lobbies, still not going to respond adequately to climate change, still going to vote conservatives laws with our frenemies the tories, and finally still going to bomb third-world countries and fund genocides 😇 because we are the leftist party the liberals!! we may pass some progressist laws to keep our very leftist electorate happy so they keep voting for us the next time, but not too much obviously we wouldn't want to be mistaken for communists 🤢 oh! would you believe that! the fascists we vanquished the last time are back 😡 we need your help to defeat them once and for all and keep our country in its rightful neoliberalistic state!! everyone knows there's only two realistic political options to solve all of our country problems and those two options are us the liberal good guys™️ and them the bad bad guys conservatives 😡 you wouldn't want to vote for the bad guys would you? of course not you're one of us, you're one of the good guys™️ so vote for the only good political party on earth the liberals 😇

She is done.

Thematically I really wanted to explore the contradictions in Kim's beliefs and break them down a bit. I wanted to put him in scenarios where the faults in his beliefs really shone through, forcing him to reconcile with how he compartmentalizes them.

Also I wanted to write Kim as the mess he is.
