Summer (2015)

So here we are: the beginning of new things and the growth of other things. Last year we released our first cassette about this time right before our three week tour out to the wild mid-west part of the country. The apex of our tour was Iris Camp outside of Bloomington, IN. This magickal, three-day rock n’ roll group hug is curated by some of the best people out there; makin’ music and art because it’s fun and fulfilling, and because community is part of the equation too. Props to the Iris Crew!

Since our tour last year we have been playing shows around our home turf in St. Augustine, FL and doing some exploring in our respective art-fields. We also got to play Do Ya Hear We Fest in Chattanooga, TN with some really great folks. We love our Sluggo’s Family! Recently we have been busting some major moves; creatively and literally (we are moving to Gainesville, FL). Due to this move, we didn’t think that we would be able to join our Iris Family again this year, but our hostess and fairy guide Daun Fields would not hear of it and coerced us back into the woods of Indiana to play again at our favorite camp of all time. 

So: soon we will be setting forth on a quick tour up and away from the swamps of FL toward community pot lucks, spontaneous rituals, bands on bands, candle labrynths, and some bangin’ shows along the way. We will be bringing with us a new aura of development and artistic pursuit. We are re-releasing our first cassette thanks to Sweet Pete @ Let’s Pretend Records, so we’ll have some merch as well as some surprise new recordings we will reveal at a later date. Also, we will have in tow Two Blue Waters: a vinyl compilation album of 15 local bands and artists from St. Augustine, Florida, of which we are featured on. 

We will be updating our SHOWS // page as we book our tour shows and other future gigs and/or art-gigs. If we are playing near to you, we like hanging out and making new friends.
