this is in my au where Charlie was raised in heaven instead of hell and one of her guardians is Adam while she's there. she stays in heaven 3 months then visits her parents for a month in hell then repeat.

Exploring the aftermath of Vaggie's reveal a bit more. In the show they didn't have time to do this in a lot of detail, but I wanted to here. This is kinda my own take on Vaggie. The wounds she has are deep and she's been trying to reteach herself a lot. I think Lucifer would understand that...

As for the attacking hellborn thing... I have circumstantial evidence. If I'm not mistaken, Vivzie has confirmed that sinners can't copulate in hell, nor do any children get sent to hell. Vaggie spared what looked to be a cannibal child... She was following the rules and she was punished anyways.

Growing up in heaven, Emily's seen the best of humanity. She's pretty optimistic most of the time, so when she meets Alastor she takes his kindness at face value. She doesn't know he's a murderer just yet.

Alastor does see an opportunity to endeer (hah) himself to a powerful being... But he's also a gentleman. He'll be nice to her, even if it's just because it's the polite thing to do. He is the hotel's host, after all! Plus, she's better company than most of the damned souls down here!

Something Worth Fighting For

To be clear Vaggie, Charlie and Emily stopped at Lucifer's place before heading back to the hotel. Vaggie and Charlie both agreed to put discussions about... Certain revelations off until then. They haven't talked about Vaggie being fallen.

Emily meeting Angel is so very interesting to me. He is, in canon, the example the hotel used to show the heavenly courts. He was the one Emily saw, the one she thought should belong in heaven. He's the one who showed her the cracks in the system. She's very happy she got to meet him in person.... But sad to know she couldn't fix those cracks.

I don't know a lot about Angel Lore, but I imagine Lucifer knew Emily when she was pretty young. From there, all she's ever heard about him was the stories about him. So, of course, she's nervous and uncertain on how he'll react.

But Lucifer isn't the person Heaven made him out to be. He sees himself in her, sees how much of her joy that heaven has already stamped out. He knows what it means to Fall. So he offers this girl, who reminds him so much of Charlie, sanctuary. And maybe has her sign adoption papers later lol

Charlie Morningstar redesign for my princess of purgatory au

Takes place in a very post apocalyptic setting in hell, after heaven quelled Lilith and Lucifer's attempt at an uprising, they were rightfully punished by the court of elder angels

After which Charlie having being deemed innocent from the sins of her parents was given an opportunity to live her life up in heaven despite being half-demon. All her life she'd only heard bad things about her parents never having an opportunity to meet them herself, since no one besides the elder angels have any idea of what became of Lilith and Lucifer post their capture. For the longest time she convinced herself that maybe, maybe everyone was right about them, but at the same time she holds a deep desire to find out what happened to them and maybe even forgive them for everything.

Since her parents don't exactly have the best reputation within heaven her identity is mostly kept a secret to help control any civil unrest. The uprising led to several hundreds of lives lost both in heaven and hell so every year the exterminations were carried out to prevent any chance of that happening again.

Charlie does have a deep rooted desire to advocate for the rights of sinners who she is aware are essentially her people, her heart aches whenever she hears of the amount of demons killed during one extermination but she has been raised to believe that this was neccesary held down by the sins of her parents she feels like it is her duty to make amends for everything that happened but feels helpless to do anything.

That is until she started getting cryptic messages in the form of dreams, a voice of a woman who while never quite there,her presence was a constant beckoning Charlie to make a deal with her in exchange for telling her the truth about her parents, heaven and the condition of hell by itself, also while promising to help her unlock her demonic powers.

Basically a lot of Eve/Roo and Charlie bonding, Charlie is a Nephilim and she has both an angel and a demonic form.

I haven't quite decided on all the ships in the Au but I know I want to write Vaggie and Emily as a thing, don't ask I'm just interested in the concept

A lot of things are different in this AU as I've taken several creative liberties

Thank you so much!!! I've been having way too much fun just chatting with friends and coming up with AUs. Vaggie was really fun to ideate, she has a lot of good motives to go evil and I just dialed up those traits to the extreme in my AU. here's a little comic for Overlord X-Angel Vaggie hehe

Velvette is hard to redesign because she's always changing. buuuut i think the earrings are consistent so lets just say X!Velvette has upside down earrings forever, kay? Not much changes about Alastor's relationship with Vox. It's already perfect.

Role reversal AU for old time's sake??

Where Alastor "somehow" gained a conscience in hell and tries to make up for what he did in life by helping other demons, Angel just wants to keep his timid—and very rarely very scary—idiot friend alive, Vaggie is Velvette's star model, and Charlie has completely given up on humanity after Lucifer vanished.
