For the drums, we used the Glyn John’s drum recording technique due to lack of microphones. Although, this technique worked very well for our live sessions, the technique gave the drums a natural reverb. We spot mik’d the snare with a Shure SM57, this gave the snare drum a nice snappy hit to it. We used a AKG D112 on the kick drum, this gave the kick drum a really bassy and had a strong boom when the drummer was playing.

The recording process started on Friday the 18th of November 2016.
We used good old Shure SM57′s on the Guitars and a AKG C214 microphone for the bass.
The two keyboards were DI’d.
