I ended up up in Hudson with some friends recently, and we had a fun meal at @mexicanradiohudson . The atmosphere was lively and we had a good time sitting and hanging out. The food was just like any other random American Tex Mex place, but I’m posting pics of my two favorites: the chicken fajitas and the guacamole and salsa appetizer! When I lived in NYC, my friends and I were on a mission to eat at every single diner in Manhattan. We went to one almost every night Wednesday for years, and ate at more than 100. Still, with all that diner experience, I have to say that our very own @yankeeclipperdiner is one of the best that I’ve been to. Good news: after weeks of trying, I finally got a successful Door Dash delivery! (I had them canceled like 10 times for a variety of reasons, like the restaurants actually being closed, no drivers around, out of ingredients, etc.) While the food wasn’t my FAVORITE ever (from Cilantro in Fishkill), it’s so nice to have an on-demand food delivery service to get food from some great restaurants in town, especially as the wintry months approach. What we got: shrimp in poblano and avocado salsa, chicken tacos, Indios vestidos (the worst photo but the best of the bunch): ground beef and cheese mini quesadilla, flash fried and covered in a red chipotle sauce. Looking forward to trying more options now that they’re up and running!
