Yeah I’m sorry, so…

-but Seb had a weird thing with Charles, because Seb was a big thing and Charles has daddy issues, and Charles also has always had a thing with Pierre because they are childhood best friends and everyone falls in love with Charles, but then Pierre developed a weird relationship with Yuki, who was literally sitting on his lap and talking about being like girlfriend and boyfriend on videos when they were teammates, but now Pierre has a weird toxic thing with Esteban, because they have always kinda hated each other but now they’re teammates so forced proximity, and Pierre also could’ve had a thing with Max, because I think Max is incapable of not falling a little bit in love with his teammates, and then Max also maybe had a weird toxic thing with Esteban, since they’ve also never liked each other and at one point max kinda wanted to choke him, but Esteban has always kinda had a thing with Lance, since they’ve always been very good friends, but then Lance would literally fall to his knees for Fernando, because he has daddy issues, or Seb, because he has daddy issues, and Seb maybe had a thing with Nico H when they were younger, because they’ve known each other for a long time, and Nico H and Kevin definitely slept together at least once, since Kevin literally told him to suck his balls on live television, and Nico H also might’ve had a thing with Daniel, when they were teammates at Renault, and Daniel had a weird night with Charles, since they went to Vegas together in 2019 and refuse to tell us what happened, and Daniel could’ve had a thing with Lando, cause they have a similar vibe and were teammates at mclaren, and Lando has a cute little thing with Max, because they’re very close, and Max also has a thing for Martin Garrix, cause they’ve been friends for a long time and look at each other like they want to get married, and then Max introduced Martin to Lando and now Lando and Martin look at each other like they want to get married, Daniel is in that mess too, and Lando also has a thing with the other Max, Max F, who has been his close friend for years and who lived with him for a long time, guess who also lived together when they were in f3, Niki and James, who probably had the weirdest thing going on…

okay but I'm not over the brocedes unicycling and especially anthony having that photo. just, imagine you're anthony hamilton. your son is special and everyone thinks that their kid is special but yours actually is. he has an insane talent but karting and racing is so expensive, but he's so talented that you're willing to work four jobs to pay for it and he's willing to work so hard on the track to show that it's worth it. and this is britain so people are awful and racist but he beats everyone and you go over to italy where, ok, the people are still mostly awful and racist but for the first time your son actually makes a friend in this sport. and on paper it doesn't make sense, this kid is white and rich and the son of a world champion but he loves your son and your son loves him. they race together and destroy hotel rooms together and you drive them and a world champion around europe and see them win and win and win. and they grow up because that's what boys do, and they both win championships and make it to formula one. and all the work was worth it because your son becomes a world champion, and then he becomes world champion again. and the boys are teammates again but it isn't fun this time. there are no friendly competitions now. years go by and your son can't even say the boy's name, but he still says that karting (with him) was the best time of his life, still uses the tricks that the boy taught him. and then you're stood talking with this boy, all grown up, talking about your son. and of that Stuff matters, of course it does, the championships and the teammates and the divorce, but it doesn't matter as much as the fact that once upon a time they were dumb thirteen year olds having competitions over unicycles as though that was ever cool, and your son was Happy.

Ok since everyone is talking about Nico and Lewis and how Nico can't move one, well I'm going to disagree with that.

Nico has no problem with Lewis anymore. He can talk about him, talk to him and laugh about their past. He's 100% over what happened and ready to be friends again if Lewis wants to. He has moved on. Also he's done with racing and achieved his dream and has a beautiful family. He's settled.

You know who isn't? Lewis.

Lewis still can't say Nico's name, can't talk about their past without looking like he's suffering. He still pretends Nico was never his teammate and never talks about their time together. Lewis is still chasing after their childhood dream, still trying to prove himself. Racing is still everything to him. And I think in a way he resents Nico for leaving. Because when Nico retired, he also left their dream behind including Lewis. He resents Nico for choosing another life, for not sticking around.

To me, Lewis and Nico are two sides of the same coin. They both used to put racing above everything and destroyed their friendship for that. But then Lewis saw Nico chose his family over racing. So he realized that Nico could also have chosen their friendship but didn't. And Lewis didn't either.

I'm not them, and I don't pretend to know their relationship, their dynamic, or anything. It's just my opinion over years of seeing them together and separated.

So yeah my conclusion is Nico is doing fine, he moved on and Lewis didn't. Maybe one day when racing won't be at the center of his life, they will talk again, like old friends gossiping about others. Because honestly, they love each other, even today it's obvious.
