Help two trans people in Russia access top surgery.
Hi, I don't tend to post here for personal reasons but this time it's important.
Please consider dontaing to this fundraiser for me and my friend. If you're curious about our story, it's on the page but the gist is in the title - we're broke, trans and our country hates us but we want to thrive nonetheless.
I know everything sucks everywhere but if yall could spare any money, we will both greatly appreciate it.
Since I can draw now and since illithids are popular now thanks to Baldur's Gate 3, I thought I would draw some of my old illithid OCs from when I was a teenager.
Left: Kthezeroth, necromancer. He fled from his illithid colony because of his arcane abilities, and, cut off from the Elder Brain, spent his life trying to become immortal. Now he's old, and he's beginning to realize he never actually lived. Also he wound up adventuring with a bunch of humanoids and eventually sacrificed his life for them.
Right: Harkvth, ulitharid. He would have been a Big Bad in a campaign I never wound up running. Harkvth is a sort of psychic paladin, with telekinetic armor formed from his fanaticism. He has a kind of twisted sympathy for humanoids, who he pities due to their lack of telepathic ability/an elder brain. His Big Bad plan is to merge human/humanoid consciousnesses together to create a kind of synthetic elder brain.
Here's an old drawing of Harkvth from 2015 - I didn't really do color back then, and I was disappointed that I couldn't get the kind of transparency I wanted for his psychic armor.
if u ever get disheartened just remember people in the 19th Century were painting hot Napoleon/Tsar Alexander boyfriend yowz before our great-grandparents were even conceived

I made a 37 minute long tutorial about how I draw cozy interiors! It runs you through how I make a perspective grid, as well as all of the tools I use to make these kinds of illustrations. Here’s a little preview of it ~ if you want to access the full video for $5, you can find it here: https://www.patreon.com/loish
Did another Leyendecker re-paint! the last one was actually pretty fun- this one didn’t take me as long as the other, I kinda got the gist of the more painterly style - but god that damn chair was out to get me, on brand I suppose
