The Soul materializes from what’s real. When we are our real Self - every feeling, every thought, every seeming imperfection, every ALL OF IT, this is the Soul. The Soul is ambivalent with regard to keeping up an image, perfection and any idea of what is “good” and “right” - the false self. It’s difficult though. Yesterday I wrote about shame. We all carry shame until we don’t. Shame is a lie about who we are that covers up the true self. Shame’s job is to keep that real self hidden and there are SO many societal factors and pressures that support and promote this farce. It is okay because the falseness also serves. Necessary even. And it will keep lamenting, lamenting, lamenting. Until it is sick and tired of its lamenting. And then Six might completely disengage and shirk any obligation it feels to the starving children. This is the beautiful spectrum of experience that the Six takes us on. And the journey is about acceptance of what IS. And in this very real space of what is - there is CLARITY of HEART. This Clarity brings us to our TRUE RESPONSE - our RESPONSIBILITY. What MUST we do because our heart says so? The journey of SIX assists us in bucking any and all conditioning that covers our truest response. Conditioning is, “the process of training or accustoming a person or animal to behave in a certain way or to accept certain circumstances.” We do not SEE our own conditioning until we do.
