Sorry @luc1dw0rld tumblr ate ur ask 💔 I remember it was essentially “what if reader opened the basement door whats dust gonna do then.” Well. Uh.

To answer that question- honestly all I could think of dust doing is…. pulling a hard bluff of threatening your life to keep sans from getting your attention. Then finding a way to destroy any means of you ever entering the basement again.

That raises several questions tho! Like, why would Sans trust him? He doesn’t. But if a guy thats held you captive in a basement threatens ur partners life you wouldn’t be stupid and take the risk lmao.

And also, What would Dust have to gain from killing you? Nothing but more exp honestly. He isn’t ready to admit to himself that he loves you, But the only thing that matters is making sure that Sans thinks he would go thru with it. Sure, any trust Sans may have had in him would be gone, sure. But he can work with that.

If he actually had to go through with it though? He would definitely hesitate for a second. Maybe even panic and freeze up as you try to reason with him or question his motives. The thought of that happening at all is what really has him shaken. But in that moment where everything he’s worked for could come crashing down in an instant… he has to take a risk, and hope that sans would trust him just enough to believe he isn’t bluffing, and hope that you would trust him just enough to not take another step down those stairs. So he wouldn’t have to do something… regrettable.

Well, I've been dealing with a lot of things and... beaurocracy.

Let's say that the fascist-- I mean-- totally not-a-fascist-right-wing party from the US made the situation worse. Me and a friend of mine was denied to extend our stay in this country, because they have too many refugees coming in and we have to leave. (Luckily my friend got another job in another country, however.. I was not so lucky)

If anyone is willing to support my art and labor it will help a lot with this!!

If no one believes my situation you can ask for @ghostangel2000 or @fudgelling-away for confirmation that I am not lying.

I am very priviliged that I can ask for your help and support. That I can at least give you all something back with my art.

Please be patient as well.. It is a tough time in my life. I will finish it eventually. Thank you very much.

HI~~~ ✨ Popping here cuz the brain worms, the brain worms, they don't care how busy I am right about now and are making my brain run wild with thoughts of Forest God Skull-

So, yeah, I just finished listening to my silly song par excellence for my silly ship (Tinkerbell's NeverBeast "Strange") and I started to wonder if the Forest Gods could... "hibernate".

I get they don't, apparently? But is there any instance they would find it necessary? Unless they do it by default since the "short nap" of a god could mean a lifetime for a human (and maybe even regular fae idk) in some cases...

Well... he exists on a timescale far beyond the comprehension of other beings. To him, it's just a short rest, one where he can lay his head down in a secluded glen and forget everything for a little while. To us, it's two hundred years. Two centuries where the bog is eerily dark and still, but voices and ghostly images appear in the distant fog like reflections in water - his powerful dreams emerging across the landscape. If he really wants to sleep, though, deeply sleep... I wouldn't be surprised if that's thousands of years. That's long, even for the fae. Thousands of years turned Nightmare from a selfish tyrant into a respected and revered king whose 'early days' of cruelty are a distant memory. It would feel like a lifetime.

He probably hasn't slept well in a long while. Too angry, too lonely, too haunted. But... say, perhaps... he met someone special? Someone who made him feel less alone, someone who made him see the brighter side of life again? Someone who made him let go of his rage? He might suddenly find that he feels calm enough to sleep.

He's aware of how long his sleeps last. When he needs to rest, he would keep it brief. Only six months or so. He doesn't want to lose time with you. He doesn't want to lose you.

Visit him while he's sleeping. Pet his skull. He may not be able to tell you in the moment, but he appreciates it.
