Random love letter about my biases and whateverrr .

Gahhhh okay I never felt so affected by Jeonghan’s enlistment notice. I felt a little sad but it didn’t really have that big of an impact on me. Even the news about Wonwoo didn’t manage to elicit any more than a slightly inconvenienced “Aw man.” Out of me.

Hoshi is my bias, and it’s funny because it’s I only really understood what bias meant after getting back into SVT. I have my favorites in other groups, but I genuinely FEEL the bias I have for Hoshi. In every GoSe, every variety show, every stage, I can’t help but be unable to tear my eyes away from him. I focus on what he’s doing and what he’s saying the most. I feel like I love the group as a whole unit greatly, but what I feel for Hoshi is so intense and crazy that I constantly have to separate it from my love of all of SVT.

To be completely honest, when he started with the enlistment jokes and when his hair started to get shorter and shorter, I didn’t even really care. My initial reaction was still the same “Aw Man.”, like a person who drops their keys trying to unlock their door. But this comeback, the HxW unit debut, honestly brought me back to when I was still in high school and addicted to seventeen and kpop and anime and just all around nerdy shit. When I’d print out pictures of things i liked and glue them to the empty pages of my notebooks.

Not sure where I’m going with this. It’s just a little silly to me that a few months ago I couldn’t imagine myself crying about svt (I wasn’t even caught up to all their music or anything) and now the idea of Hoshi and Woozi enlisting makes me feel like tearing up.

I think I would have been a little less emotional about it if the unit never happened. I loved seeing them perform these silly songs together (stupid idiot mostly. I fucking loved stupid idiot) I loved seeing this new side to Woozi and I loved how obvious it was that they were having fun on stage.

Idk. I’m writing this as a farewell bc I can feel their notices coming soon, and 2 years is such a short time but it’s also so, so long. When they come back I’ll probably be free of this Kpop psychosis, but for now I miss them already.
