Got7 is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment in 2014. The group consists of seven members: Jay B, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom. They are known for their energetic performances which often incorporate elements of martial arts tricking and street dancing.
Got7 gained popularity quickly after their debut with their first EP, "Got It?", which topped Billboard's World Albums Chart. They have since released numerous successful albums and singles in both South Korea and Japan.
The group is also known for their international appeal, with members hailing from South Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, and the United States. Their music spans a range of genres including K-pop, hip hop, trap, and R&B.
In 2021, Got7 departed from JYP Entertainment after the expiration of their contract. However, they have assured fans that they are not disbanded and will continue to release music as a group. They are currently signed with Warner Music Korea.
