Jamaa El Fnaa Square : Some Geography and History Bits Up to the Present Day In terms of geographical position, we can consider the Square as a junction point between the modern part of Marrakech, Gueliz, and the old historical part of Marrakech, the Medina. The Jemaa El Fnaa Square Marrakech is located in the heart of the Medina despite its southwest peripheral location within it. Positioned not far from the Royal Palace and at the foot of the minaret of the famous Mosque of Koutoubia, after having skirted the El Koutoubia Trek where are parked the horse carriages of Marrakech, it is the starting point and the gateway to the famous souks of the Medina. https://www.instagram.com/p/CJo3VnsgxVW/?igshid=1xp6alixqmstx

The Mediterranean Sea on the horizon: With limestone walls and the grace of a dove, Tetouan welcomes you to streets infused with a subtle blend of cultures. The city has tinges of Andalusia that can be sensed in the narrow streets lined with green and white houses that evoke Seville and Granada. For a better look, enter the medina, one of the busiest and most beautiful in all Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Artisans ply their trades in the plazas and in front of their workshops. Catch a painter working on a wood canvas or, at Guersa El Kébira, embroidery specialists and Jebala women selling their mendils, shawls splashed with red, blue or white. Be sure to visit the Mellah, the medina's Jewish section, which has a parade of jewelry stores and a central street that leads to the Royal Palace, an emblem of Spanish-Moorish art. When you leave the old city, you will find yourself surrounded by a completely different sort of architecture. Tetouan was briefly part of a Spanish protectorate, which left behind monuments to European style: the old Spanish casino, Notre Dame de la Victoire church and the public library all add to the unique esthetics of the city. Finally, there are festivals that keep the cultural scene fresh, such as a Mediterranean film festival, a comics festival and an event dedicated to women's voices. Discover Tetouan and dive into a deeply historic city. See for yourself how cultures mingle and how the city stays authentic while remaining open to outside influences Welcome to Morocco 🤗 @moroccandesertexplorers https://www.instagram.com/p/CJWOmCTAMbU/?igshid=cp3op0a3ig7l

🔸️ WHY A MOROCCAN CATPET !!! 🤔 A home space often serves as the social hub of a home, bringing family members together to talk, play, or relax, and the teens are sprawling across the floor. However, because of all that dancing and relaxing, the flooring choice might be more critical. Hence the living room floor must be soft, comfortable, and cozy. Beyond that, durability, ease of cleaning, construction, and even color can make a significant impact on selecting the best carpeting for different parts in your home. Adding one of the masterpiece Moroccan carpets can bring the softness and warmth that makes it the best flooring option for your sweet home space. Most homeowners tend to prefer soft and comfortable space while at home or sleeping. No one wants to be wake up by the sound of someone else walking through the bedroom. The Moroccan carpets are quieter to walk on than hard flooring, and it helps to mask the sound of a person walking around the room. It absorbs the sound, reducing the noise of speech and other activities so your space will remain quieter. Most people never like to leave the warmth of a bed, as it can make matters worse due to the hard floor surface coldness! Using Moroccan carpets with this contrast provides a nice transition between the comfort of the bed and soft yet warm touch to your foot. Similarly, when your feet are tired at the end of the day, you can retreat to your feet in your room. Moroccan carpets bring a beautiful and soft feel under your foot. Moroccan Berber carpet is a very versatile carpet style and can work with many types of decor. It is now becoming the most popular alternative for all areas of the home! These carpets are light in color with flecks of darker colors that represent the style of weaving done by the Berber tribes in Atlas Mountain in Morocco. One of the reasons that Moroccan Berber carpet has become increasingly popular is for being less expensive than other carpeting styles. Berber carpeting is available at different sizes and comes with different price points. It could be comparably less cost than its counterparts.
