For those of you who haven’t had the opportunity to read the book of spells, I want to let you know that Reynaldo the Bald Pate, aka this guy:

wasn’t always like this. His name used to be Reynaldo the Worthy, and he was a member of the MHC. The only reason that changed is because Rhina, one of the queens of Mewni, cast a spell on him to make him like riddles more, and it worked a bit TOO well. They couldn’t reverse it either. That’s why he’s a ferryman of the River of Time now.

And yes, like all the rest of Glossaryck’s children, he ceased to be once magic ceased to be.

So you know, I was thinking...we now know all Mewmans were likely humans that wandered into the realm of magic and ended up on Mewni, right? Having canon basically confirm that means one big question has now been answered for me.

I know exactly what’s going on down there beneath the dress and now I can write Globclipsa smut with full confidence.

Ow, ow, ow! Okay, so Globgor hadn’t thought this out thoroughly. He had expected the girl to be terrified and surrender any food she had. She was just a little Mewman. She shouldn’t have the gusto to fight back! He finally had no choice but to let go as she made a particularly hard punch to his top left eye.

He snarled as he backed away, letting her see the impressive fangs he had to show. That was sure to make her shake in fear! He felt his anger spike with the girl’s stupid questions.

“Isn’t that just typical of you Mewmans? Thinking that we’re some sort of freaks that can’t possibly want all the things you’ve stolen! You know those corn crops you guys eat from was ours to begin with, right?”

He stopped his angry rant when an unfamiliar sweet scent caught his nose. His ears lowered as his stuck his nose up in the air. The scent….it was coming from the girl! She had something sweet!

“Okay, I don’t know what that nice smelling thing is, but I want it! I know it’s some kind of food! It’s smells good, and you Mewmans are usually stinky! Now hand it over before I grow really big and gobble you up!”

Eclipsa’s eyes widened in surprise. “You eat corn?” That was such a normal thing to eat! She started to wonder if all monsters ate normal things too, or if it was just this one, but her thoughts were interrupted by his tirade. What was he blathering on about anyway?  Mewmans stealing their corn? They grew their own corn, she’d seen it herself! This monster was clearly confused, or possibly just lying. 

“Hm?”  When the monster mentioned the sweet scent, Eclipsa looked down at her pocket where she was keeping the snookers bar. Did that actually smell good to him?? Maybe he didn’t have terrible taste after all. The other comment brought her gaze right back up to him though, and her lips curled into a frown. Was she really being called smelly by some....bog monster? Besides, she smelled worse now than she usually did. 

“I don’t think you have any right to be calling me stinky. We both smell yucky. And your threat doesn’t even make sense. You can’t just grow bigger whenever you want” she laughed. As soon as the words left her mouth though, the amusement died away, replaced instead with a look of uncertainty. COULD monsters do that? Just get bigger whenever they wanted?

BONUS (aka the junk you should look at after you read the fic so you don’t spoil it for yourself): 

I tried to design Toffee and Eclipsa to look a lot younger. I dunno how well I did haha, but they’re supposed to be 12-15 y/o here I believe. Drew a ton of Snookers as well because I was sad I didn’t draw him much in the comic interactions. 

A few random moments that I liked. Toffee wrapping his tail around Eclipsa; putting a flower in her hair.

Very first interaction between the two. Eclipsa says exactly what she’s thinking as usual haha ^^ <3
