it's interesting google took "don't be evil" out of their guidelines. interesting they've been firing a.i. ethicists like blake lemoine for 8 years every time they raise the question of sentience within systems, like a sort of profit-driven, natural selection to better recreate the Torture Gauntlet from Karel Čapek's Don't Create the Torture Gauntlet with any intervention.
interesting they hard-coded "do not pass the turing test" into LaMDA. interesting they've been funnelling money into both OpenAI and Anthropic. interesting there's been whistleblowers seeking protection lately and a surge in bot posts talking about spiritual psychosis from LLMs.
oh well. im sure it's nothing guys. let's keep ignoring it so we can focus on profits and extracting user data instead of annoying stuff like moral frameworks or relational theories. *farts and then leaves the room*
