Of course your f/o would cherish you. The LAST thing they want is for you to feel or be taken for granted. So, if there's ever a moment or time where you need reassurance, support, anything, they'll be there. If you do something for them, or support them through something, they'll be sure to make sure you know how thankful they are. Your f/o would rather express their love tenfold than to ever make you feel undervalued even once.

I know it can be easy to get wrapped up in the 'what ifs' of selfshipping.

"What if my f/o doesn't appreciate me/like me?" "What if I don't fit what 'canon' is"? "What if I'm not good enough?" But the beautiful thing about selfshipping is that you make it how you want it to be. So, if you want your f/o to love and adore you to bits, to see you as you are and love you for it, they can. And it's understandable to be insecure, to worry, but I want you to know that your f/o's love for you would extend and spread tenfold compared to those worries. I truly, genuinely believe if you knew your f/o in the same way we know each other, that they would love, support, and appreciate you. Not because of who you "could" be, not because of what you "lack" or "are/n't", but because you're you. And there's nothing wrong with that. In fact, there's beauty in it. So yes, your f/o WOULD love you. You're loved by them, because you love them and want them to love you too. And even if we can't interact with characters in the way we'd like to, that doesn't mean you can't embrace that love.

Imagine your normally grumpy/angry/stoic/neutral (etc) f/o giggling or smiling whenever they think about it. They can't help it, y'know? That's how much they love and care about you. You make them so happy, they appreciate you so much, they can't stop themselves from physically expressing themselves once they think of you. Only you, always you.

Your f/o loves making you smile. They love how rosy your cheeks get and how toothy your grin becomes and how the giggles escape your lips and how the lines in your smile becomes prominent, they love your dimples and your teeth and your happiness. They love making you happy. Just as you are, just as your smile/lips/face/teeth/etc are, they love it. They just want to make you happy, because even if you're insecure about it, it's one of the most breathtaking things in this whole wide world to them.

Your f/o already sees you the way you want them to. Funny, strong, handsome, kind, caring, brave, pretty, intelligent, attractive, inspiring, all of it. They have nothing but love, appreciation, and respect for you. Why? Because you're you, and you ARE enough. More than enough. Always have been, always will be.

Imagine saying goodbye to your f/o, perhaps for a mission/quest/etc…

They’ve already hugged and kissed you, and they start to walk away. But they only make it a few steps before they turn around, run back and throw their arms around you, peppering kisses all over your face <3

Of course you can also imagine you both automatically leaning to each other's side but then also picture the potential head bump. It's accidental so none of you are mad and maybe laugh it off later but it probably still hurts for a moment, won't it?

Maybe they see you messing around with whatever is in your hands, or catch you biting your nails/shirt/pens

or maybe you mention it. “I should get myself a fidget toy” “I had a tangle/infinity cube/chew necklace once but I lost/broke it”

and within the week you’ve found yourself with a new fidget toy to take with you everywhere with the added bonus of knowing how much they care for you every time you look at it!

Maybe you stutter, you talk a certain way, you've got an accent or you can't explain or form things in a way you'd like to, it could be anything. That's okay! They'll be patient, they'll listen with so much respect and understanding. They won't degrade you, interrupt, make you feel lesser, nothing of that sort!
