Myna was always a mysterious figure in mage history.

Progeny of dread Maisu, the mother of the Sulparan Starlings, Myna. As mysterious as she is revered, Myna stands to be among the most well known mages in Sulparan history. There is very little consensus on her life story, however most believe her to have been an acolyte. Her infamy stems from the creation of the Sulparan Starling, the only non-sapient species that is able to learn and cast new spells. Sulparan starlings are seen as symbols of the gods and mainly of mages. They are inexplicably intelligent and are able to almost perfectly copy speech. Some claim that they are of one mind, explaining their coordinated flocks of millions.

Myna's reasons for their creation is unknown, with most assuming that they were only ever meant for spell practice. Others claim she wanted to have eyes and ears everywhere, ensuring that no pariah would be able to escape justice. The strangest theorize that upon her death, she simply transformed into the first flock to ever take to Sulparae's skies. Nevertheless, she is praised for her legacy and is one of the few mages to be worshipped, often as a patron of goals and achievements.

Also here's some post-crashout Kaphlas and a comparison between his original (Well, "original") design from December 2023 versus June 2025. Still have no clue why I made him look so neutral there, he was always supposed to be grumpy!

Becoming the magister of Orenomos is the pipe dream of almost every mage in the city, but if you asked Sukozen, he would’ve told you the job wasn’t all it was chalked up to be.

The stress of managing a whole city, a bunch of rowdy mages, and a useless son- well. It wasn’t a great position to be in.

Especially after he got his skull smashed in for it.

The paimara are quite a unique member of the intalli. Their fishy appearance is deceiving, but they're far from aquatic. They are instead blessed with flight, able to soar high above the clouds with a single flap of their flippers.
