Festivals and Events -  Fresno, California
Go Fresno, Go Greek
Fresno, California owes its tourist surplus to the bountiful services it gives back. Banking on the industries where it is the strongest, it is the center of economy in Fresno County and San Joaquin Valley. California Eco Bureau Fresno is one of the accomplishments of Fresno. It has a CEB branch that serves and represents Central Valley businesses in Fresno County and is certified to educate and promote sustainable business habits that will be good for the environment in the long term. With its online program of business tools and expertise, anyone can be a learned force in the said field. Valley Tax Law, the program’s website, engages you in the proper steps of your problems and helps you solve them. Access it now at http://valleytaxlaw.com.
Shy to join an event? Feel free to explore the cultures of Fresno. First stop is the Greek Fest--and it cements itself as California’s premier Greek Festival. In effect to what is an immersion, it's celebrating 58 years of what is one of the oldest civilizations and Europe. Seniors and children under 12 have free entries. Volunteers gladly open their doors for a day off sounds and beautiful tastes (did anyone say Greek food?). Over 30 Greek-themed kiosks/stalls line up Fresno with cooking demonstrations, mini/Youth Olympics, art tours and Greek wine tasting are all part of the itinerary. Everything that rhymes with fun is available in this cross-culture of America and Greece. The three-day event has dancing, drinking, shopping and the Greek market--so if you are not interested in eating any food then at least you can recreate them in your kitchens. Concerts from The Olympians and HoHLax Trio will be held. Bounce castles will be available to family members and friends of all ages can come, not to mention Church tours are done regularly.
