Green Guide Paris - eBook in Danish
So, Marie Louise, tell me: what happened to this eco-guide to Paris?

People have been asking me this all summer, and I understand that you might be wondering why it hasn’t arrived yet. But don’t worry; I’m finally able to share some great news!
My publisher, Arkiv for Detaljer (Archive of Details), and I have decided to postpone the release of the guide book until spring 2016.
This has got nothing to do with apathy, on the contrary. Everyone who is taking part in this project is doing it for free, and the editors, graphic designers and I have been working hard to finish up the last details in order to create the guide book we all want it to be. And everything takes time - much more time than we expected.

Furthermore a lot of new (and unpredictable) job related things have been taking place over the past few months also prolonging the process. I have become a full time freelancer for Danish television station TV 2 Denmark in Brussels. I now find myself in the Belgian capital surrounded by EU flags and meetings every day and can only go back to Paris during weekends and holidays (luckily the French capital is only 1h22 minutes away with the fast train, so I can’t complain).
But hey, Marie Louise… Do we really need to wait until spring 2016 to get a sneak peak of the guide?
NO, you don’t have to wait!
We have decided to make a little eBook in which you can read about some of Paris’ eco-friendly inhabitants and get some of my special tips for markets, cafes and restaurants already now.
It’s nothing big or fancy, but hopefully it's enough of a sneak peak to kill the wait. You can download it right here: http://we.tl/WUhpbo2MnA

(To all of you none-Danish speaking people, I’m terribly sorry that the eBook only exists in Danish - but hey, it might be an opportunity to learn a bit of Danish or simply just enjoy the beautiful photos?!)
I hope you will enjoy it. Soon the trees on the boulevards of Paris will once again bloom with green leaves, people will flock to the sidewalk cafes - and you will be sitting contentedly holding your newly printed Green Guide Paris in your hands…

Once again thank you for all of your support. I’m looking forward to update you on everything in the early spring of 2016.
All the best,
Marie Louise + Arkiv for Detaljer

Angelle and Daniel have opened this little coffee 'kiosk' called Honor Café in a beautiful backyard in the 8th arrondissement (54 Rue du Faubourg St. Honoré). The English-Australian couple has years of experience from the speciality coffee scene in London, so no wonder that the coffee here is great ! (It tastes even better when it's served by warm and friendly people like Angelle and Daniel)
Don't miss this new little spot among coffee shops in Paris, it's a special one !

Not even 5 minutes from my own place, I just discovered this gluten free lunch place: Bears and Racoons. Their sandwiches and soupes are delicious (so is the mini molleux au chocolat) ! The two young owners of the café, Barbara and Gianni, have created a really nice place, where you can enjoy a calm lunch or an organic afternoon tea or coffee ! Go there if you are in the neighbourhood 21. rue Richard Lenoir, 11. arr. #ecoguideparis #bearsandraccoons

Springtime is coming closer and closer.. (ha, you need to think positive in winter time, when it's cold and you don't really feel like going out!) My eco-guide project has been on standby the past few weeks, but now I'm working hard to finish the last texts and prepare everything for publication. Exciting !
These photos are from lovely Rose Bakery in Marais, 30 Rue Debelleyme. Even though it's freezing outside, you'll always find warm at Rose Bakery.. #rosebakery #ecoguide #parisbio
