Absently buzzing in happiness, it rather rapidly evaporates as he stares over Summy’s shoulder. The prospect of returning absolutely terrified him, even so far as to make his mouth taste bitterly sour at the thought. It was only marginally eased by the fact he wouldn’t be him exactly, but a him that would enjoy it. And he really did want to help…

Refocusing on his saviour, Mellis gave a small curt nod. “I’ll do it.”

You smile and hug him tightly, all your plans coming to fruition. You grin widely as you pet his hair, more thoughts and plans  coming into your head. You realize that this is a terrible thing to do to Mellis, but you don’t particularly care much, aside from this uncomfortable feeling in your gut, as if you are feeling a little guilty about this.

“Thats so great! Thank you so much, Mellis! This means so much to me, I promise to take care of everything.”

You actually felt slightly bad there, but when he starts thinking about it and starts coming over to your side again and calms down, you feel better. Despite being an awful person, you still somewhat like Mellis, even if you’re using him.

“That’s exactly right~! You’ll be like you were before you got here and I fixed you, until I tell you the secret phrase~ I can’t tell you it now, because you can’t be allowed to remember it yourself, but once I tell you the phrase you’ll wake up and be like you are now~.”

You love how loyal he is to you, you plant a kiss on his cheek and hug him again. You just know he’s going to accept.

A flash of fear ran through his body, driving his spine straight and still. Go…back? Forget Summoner, forget what he’d done for him, go back to being her slave? Logically, he knew it wouldn’t really affect him, the true him. In fact, if he thought about it, he’d be. Safe.

You hug him again and bury your face against his shoulder in a fantastic display of acting. You are REALLY good at this.

Basking in the comfort that he was getting from the gentle contact, the psion followed like an obedient little puppy. In fact, you could almost see the wagging tail stop and floppy ears droop at his sudden attitude.
