I really don’t get how a lot of the ST fandom hate on the Eddie Munson fans to an insane degree. Like yes.. it can be cringe but that doesn’t mean they deserve hate. They’re just enjoying themselves!

And if you are sending hate and judgement, you do know that makes you as bad as Jason Carver right? A BULLY.

( he’s half the man Eddie ever was- hahahahahahahahahahahaha. I’m not funny)

A huge part of Eddie’s character is that he is relatable to people who don’t fit in or play into conformity.

It’s been EXACTLY one year since S4 and I haven’t rewatched it because of the trauma it has caused me.

But saying that, introducing Eddie as a character was probably one of the Duffers BEST decisions. He spoke to so many people who were and are outsiders or ‘freaks’ and a target of bullying; to so many metal heads who get made fun of simply for the music they listen to or the way that they present themselves. I think he was a well rounded character and Joseph was PERFECT for the roll. (Of course I’m saying that bc i have a very strong bias for Joseph - he’s lovely)

My only criticism is that he and Will never got to meet. I think they would have gotten on really well. :(

AND that Eddie and Wayne didn’t get any scenes together. That would have also been very heartwarming because you just know they have a really healthy relationship.
