Throwback to the beginning of June. Beautiful time in Rijeka: met new friends, spent great time. Mostly got back on the bike after one month after the crash. Here’s another picture showing my ‘90s riding style! Really cannot wait to be back in @MugelloCircuit to improve my technique with @RSTeamItaly. A full immersion in which I hope to get some decent results. During this week I also tried to practise more my yoga exercises, to have more strength and flexibility and to add some mobility while on the bike. I have to admit that a custom seat (5cm higher than stock) already improved my position and my ease. Let’s try to do more! Yesterday I had the great opportunity to get involved in the #DunlopDays. Amazing experience, we performed an Instagram takeover, built some great photo and video contents and worked a lot with the @DunlopMoto.Italia team. Unluckily I had some problems to the bike, but @Luca.Pedersoli staff resolved it in a blink of an eye. @Autodromo_di_Franciacorta is one of the best facilities to ride in the north of Italy, thanks to the politeness and attention to safety of its staff! One of the moments I like the most while riding on the track is the second in which you focus on the correct line of your turn. It is like the moment before the race starts. Everything is frozen, I feel the concentration and in a blink of an eye, I have to decide the best possible line to be fast and consistent in the lap time. I really love speed and motorcycle racing. During the first laps in @grobnik_circuit it was very difficult for me to immediately find the right feeling leaning leftwards (the side I hit in @mugellocircuit last month). The ribs still ached a bit but after a while I discovered again the happiness and the joy of riding. These mixed feelings remind me that the key is not in the fall, but in how you find the strength and the enthusiasm of getting up again! It’s like a long question mark: you brake hard, as close as possible to the 100m sign, slightly turning right and the you get into a long, fast and parabolic left corner.
