I like the thought of him still saying ‘I’m buck because there were too many Evans in my class’ but not mentioning that his last name used to be Buckley because ‘why would he mention that?’ So everyone he meets is just really confused

Imagine. Idk if pre-relationship or established, but:

Buck and Eddie sometimes accidentally mix up their clothes, which is fine, they don't care, a shirt is just a shirt. And when Buck accidentally wears a Diaz shirt and gets teasingly called Diaz 2 for the day, he gets a giddy smile.

BUT

One day Eddie is accidentally wearing Buck's shirt with Buckley on it. Or his turnouts, idc. And Buck looks at it and it's just... Wrong. It feels wrong. Which is confusing because he likes it when Eddie wears his clothes, because even though they have a similar size, Buck always stretches his out so they still look slightly too big on Eddie. So why does he hate it?

Which is how Buck ends up realizing that the Buckley name is what's wrong and he becomes a Diaz on paper. (But yeah bonus points if that's pre-relationship)

Just fucking realized that in the scene where Lestat gets Claudia back from the train, the dog he lets out, pets and lets lick the blood off his hands, is a mastiff. It really makes me think that for Lestat, that scene went a lot differently. His first friend was a mastiff his mother gave him and when confronting Claudia he takes the time to visit with a puppy. One that no doubt reminded him of his own dog and the very few true moments of happiness in his life.

Rewatching iwtv and I hadn’t realized just how much of a sassy bitch Louis is

Okay but when Claudia was talking to Louis while he and Lestat were having sex. Then Louis sorta spaced out for a minute and Lestat stop was he was doing and pulled away because he could tell he wasn’t all there.

I just keep winning and winning

I just realized that Lestat had to teach himself pretty much everything about vampirism so when he told Louis that you mustn’t drink the blood of the dead because it could kill you, he was speaking from experience. Which I think is supported by Lestat saying that when he was freshly turned he couldn’t bring himself to drink hot blood.

Anyway all I can think about is baby Lestat finding a dead body/freshly dead person and slowly starving to death while drinking their blood. And with slowly increasing desperation realizing that he has to kill a person.

All the while reliving the memories of being trapped in Magnus’ tower, drowning in the stench of look-alike corpses.
