Basically, there r tons of fake asses on tumblr who just want comments and followers, so someone started this to see who's actually a good friend. ugh I need to yap about my rework of StEx so bad

I love the original, and if I had the choice I would bring it back almost entirely the same- but it’s inherently flawed, particularly in the misogyny department.

To combat this, I wanted to focus in on the misogyny by changing a bit of the script, and most importantly changing Rusty to be female- but it feels so strange!! It just doesn’t feel the same, but I’ve kinda fallen in love with the concept. There’s so many opportunities to explore the misogyny of train society through a female Rusty, as well as having Pearl have a gay awakening subplot- but I miss OLC StEx so bad, I worry that when the time comes I’ll fold and make Rusty male like the original.

I don’t know, maybe I’ll write two different versions.

I feel like if I were to get the opportunity to put on a professional StEx production, it would be best to use a female Rusty. Solely because, as much as I love the older versions of StEx, they’re over and done with. If given the chance, I should take it upon myself to use my platform to provide a new perspective on the story instead of putting on the same show that has already existed many times over.

And would female Rusty really change all that much? maybe I’m overreacting, and just missing old StEx. idk let me know what y’all think.
