Something I find so hilarious about the side of this fandom that hates me is that they've all been spending their time sending me anon asks telling me to kill myself, that nobody loves me, or that they hope my disability progresses into one that paralyzes me, and not one of these grown adults thinks that's even slightly or maybe just a bit of an overreaction to a minor telling their following of other minors that they found out somebody is a proshipper 😭 I don't like to use this term because of when and where it's usually used, but... Hey so I don't send anon asks and anyone pretending to is faking it. I've always clarified that I do not use the anonymous ask feature because I do not have a need to. Anyone who I don't like gets blocked, and anyone I'm sending asks to gets my full username along with it because I don't feel the need to hide silly asks like "what's your opinion on _" behind a false identity.

If anyone is sending anon hate in my name: genuinely, fuck you. Just block people you don't like. I've already had this happen before where people pretended to be me in anon asks (however that works???) and it's weird as shit. I don't send hatemail to people and if you knew anything about me as a person or what goes on in my main account, you wouldn't even consider it. I get told to kill myself weekly on my main account. I have never, nor will ever, feel the need to send somebody hate. The "hate" I give is either calling somebody out for something that has been hidden from the fandom or is being done in private to people (like abuse), or through private DMs if I feel that it ABSOLUTELY, INCREDIBLY necessary to let somebody know how I feel about them. That's rare, and I only did that once on here before blocking a kid who was stalking me and trying to hit on me.

Now that my mind is EEnE bugged... What do you guys personally interpret Rolf's nationality or culture influences to be?

I've personally leaned towards Ukrainian and I've seen a few do that as well! I also like to believe he's from a culture that is lesser known to the first world countries because it's small and secluded, or perhaps and more unfortunately, overridden/overshadowed heavily by colonization. I don't have any specific headcanon for the cultural influence because I personally believe it's not mine to interpret as somebody who is pretty much full colonizer genes and would not have enough personal experience to understand the subject and take it on with proper education, so I'd love to hear what you guys believe! It's also just fun because his origin was left up for viewer interpretation.

Unironically, I think you can diagnose these kids using the official criteria for autism and/or ADHD LOL. I've been thinking about starting a notebook of my case studies because I am a sucker for note taking and I definitely want to rewatch and spend my time paying attention to each individual Ed and checking off criterias for stuff. Is it worthwhile? Maybe not. But having reasons to back up my own headcanons, especially something as solid as "you can literally diagnose them going off of professional diagnosis criteria just from the show and the scenes they depict", is something I LOVE. I support all harmless headcanons, even the ones that may not have much proof because we love and support self indulgence here ❤ but as a personal thing, I really like being able to provide evidence for my psychological headcanons. Somebody PLEASE remind me to do this and I promise I'll post the case studies if I get around to making actual notes in a notebook on them!!!

Not even gonna entertain it aside from this post and this is so stupid of a situation that I'm not even going to tag it but like. Yeah I'm going to mention if somebody is hiding something like being proshipper. I sort of just block and ignore people who make it clear on their profile except for untagged posts, convos with friends, or if I'm asked something about it, but proshipping is a serious issue if you aren't somebody who is completely braindead in the topic of psychology and how the brain works and finding out that somebody was secretly supporting proshipping is the type of thing that's really not okay, and even if we put this into a weird "antis vs proshipping" thing I wouldn't even bother if somebody did the same thing for somebody who is anti and was like "omg just found out oomfie is anti they don't have it on their profile I'm so sad" because it's a serious fuckin boundary especially for children and abuse victims so can't complain when it's done back. If anything, I'd prefer it be done back so we don't even gotta deal with people finding stuff like this out the hard way. But I just think hiding that kind of information in the fandom a show for kids is maybe just a little bit peculiar and I have every right to be distraught about it and let other "antis" know so they can set boundaries and block 😵‍💫 that's not cancelling, people really use that term loosely, if anything I'm inviting proshippers over there. I'm just trying to keep people who are uncomfortable with it comfortable because fandoms can be a safe space for people and this can help it feel safer for people who have the "anti" view ❤

Lowkey this is probably about as much as I'll say unless somebody takes it to a personal and legal level (yes, it's happened before. Yes, it was stupid as shit.) because I think anyone who has basic human empathy can understand boundaries and why people may be a little upset if somebody hides something about their morality. Countries are falling into fascism, removing the education system's educational aspects, and creating people with failed logic and a false sense of superiority for topics they've never actually studied on a scientific and peer reviewed level. I meet these people every damn time I go outside and I'm not really shocked there's mild forms of such online (clarifying this because I don't believe proshipping is fascist; I feel like my words will be twisted if I don't clarify) trying to convince other grown adults that I am some sort of evil for letting people in my specific group of specific viewpoints know when somebody has hidden a viewpoint from us that affects their image. We've got people who think vaccines cause autism wandering around, and the literacy rates are at an all time low for adults in a particular country I'm sure we all know. If they want to play victim because I mentioned that somebody hid something very important to their morality, whatever. I've had worse. There is worse out there. Once I'm given access to psychological studies and get to research stuff that has been underresearched or vague, I probably won't create posts longer than one or two sentences if somebody hides information like this. I don't support attacking and I block anybody who I believe might go after somebody because I mentioned them in one of those "quick note for those who feel more comfortable with these people blocked" type posts. I'm a straight A student, early into college, with at home education of psychology and philosophics of such obtained from only peer reviewed and/or credible sources. I have no doubt in my mind that I know what I'm talking about when I protest the profiction concept, so I've sort of just stopped caring. For anybody that feels like reaching out because "ohhh somebody's talking about you!!" don't bother. I grew up getting called an armchair professional because people think the source's credibility changes as soon as the textbook leaves college campus, don't waste your time on trying to make me feel better just because some people are unfortunately very strict about their belief system, even when all scientific studies proves against it. People suck, it's whatever. Don't feel bad bout keeping yourself feeling safe. It's why I let people know when this information gets hidden from view. If you can make the internet feel a bit less nasty than the outside world by blocking away proshippers, go ahead. And I encourage proshippers to do the same, and also include their status as such in bios. You don't gotta, but if you don't, I would want you to understand when somebody from the opposing side finds out and lets people know so they can create a boundary.

Seriously, the world looks like shit out there. Let's be respectful when groups of viewpoints find out somebody they know has the opposite viewpoint secretly and lets people know about it. I'm going to fight for more and more peer reviewed, replicatable studies on the effects of profiction mindsets so that this information is easily accessible, even to those who don't study it for fun, but honestly I'd rather keep the actual proshippers outta my space. If the proshippers wanna keep the antis outta their space, too, that's cool. Sadly most of the studies that reveal the impact of profiction content are scattered across topics and delve into different forms of proshipping rather than the entire topic as a whole, so many profiction people try to claim that because it's not broad spectrum, it's false. Not my circus, not my monkeys. I'm not falling into the danger so whatever. Can't stop somebody from doing something if they truly believe that they're correct. Just don't wanna associate.

To compensate for lack of posting here's a thought

I've really been associating "Amnesia Was Her Name" by Lemon Demon with adult EddEddy. The song is sung by Eddy and he's talking about how his trauma affects his ability to remember things and how it's hurting his life. The "spaghetti with long term memory sauce" part is something I interpret to be Eddy talking about the time he tried to open up to the idea of dating Edd (he doesn't date yet because of trauma) but when he tried to, seeing his spaghetti below him gave him flashbacks because of the color of the sauce being like blood and he had to go home early. Edd wants to support him and be with him through it but Eddy feels he isn't ready and he's trapped in a state where he wants Edd really bad but doesn't trust himself with Edd because he hasn't resolved his trauma yet. This has been making me so ill for a long while now I have to share

Omfg I just found out that doubledyke supports proshippers I'm so distraught ☹️☹️ I found a profile that had really amazing art of traumatic themes and I was like woah this really reminds me of my own work and I went to check them out and they're proshit and was immediately greeted to a post of doubledyke expressing support for them despite them openly being proshipper OUUUUIGGGHHH .......... Yeah I'm dipping from the EEnE fandom again I swear every time I address something harmful that's more widespread and explain why it's bad in a gentle manner I get somebody who spins it to be some sort of attack on them personally ☹️ and it's so stressful because I always try to clarify that I understand mental problems exist and so does not realizing things until you're told and I don't shame people who do the bad things unless they continue to promote it despite being told. But there is always someone who somehow reads the exact opposite of what I said 😭⁉️ I have such severe trauma with being misunderstood and I was gonna come back after I left a while back due to people getting on me for explaining why two specific ships were proships as delicately as I could but perhaps I should stick to addressing problems within the KND fandom and not the EEnE fandom because I'd rather have silence than a firm and indirect reminder about why it's so hard for our world to just be better 😭 no offense to anyone because I understand trying to defend what you've known forever now. But yeah I'll let someone else say the same thing I said and hope maybe it gets a better reaction next time. I'm already in shitty mental health LOL. Finding him physically attractive is normal, it's called aesthetic attraction. You can admit someone is attractive while not being in love with them. But something I want people to understand is that if you're attracted to Eddy's bro, you may have a problem with self sabotage. Of course, it's okay to be struggling and have issues with trauma. But it's not okay to actively engage in self shipping yourself with an abuser, because it promotes self sabotaging behavior as normal and okay. It can also hurt YOU personally, because it may get into your head and cause you to attract to abusers in real life, which will get you into an actual case of abuse that you can't just imagine your way out of. You shouldn't be romantically attracted to anyone that would be immoral to date irl and if you are -- again, it indicates that you have some problems with attraction to immoral relationships like abusive relationships. In other pieces of media, this would apply to any villain who mirrors real life abuse or bigotry. Whether they're an allegory to abuse or bigotry (ex: they want to eliminate all "glorps" from the universe despite "glorps" just looking different or having a different but moral culture), or they're an outright realistic representation of it -- such as Eddy's bro with abuse -- you should normally feel turned off seeing them act bigoted or abusive. This doesn't apply to every villain, of course! Many villains exist that are just fun and silly and don't commit any evil that mirrors bigotry or true abuse, and in that case it wouldn't be abnormal to feel attracted to them even after seeing them act like a villain. But when something that can and does happen and hurts people constantly in real life is perpetrated by a villain, you should feel nothing but physical attraction for them at most if you don't have some mental health baggage. If drawing yourself shipped with an abusive character helps you cope with it that's okay! But don't share it to the general public. It's best to only share with close friends! Many people will see the ship and think of it as positive because shipping tends to BE positive. You don't "ship" a toxic ship, you know?

This also doesn't apply the same way to OC x Canon. If you're shipping an OC with Bro and you make sure it's clear that they're just as bad as him or that the relationship is toxic, there's no problem with shipping it! Abusive people pretend to be nice sometimes too. It's just self shipping and glorification of abusers is an issue.

Rolf's first social media was YouTube and his videos were all low quality, shakey phone recordings of grotesque animal things like him pulling an impacted feather or him helping a cow give birth which nobody watched. He remains proud of his YouTube "career" and thinks the documentation of his farm care is important for the world to see. He also sends Kevin other farm videos that end up Rolf's algorithm, such as informal videos about chicken species and their egg laying rates, or how to handle the demeanor of the different breeds of farm pigs.
