At long last, I have finally finished the scrunkly, the crochet 'spekta (with needle felting elements). Alas, I did not manage to fit a squeaker into him (unless I find a smaller one at some point, in which case I might consider surgery), but even without it, he remains the ultimate stress toy, complete with a wire in his tail not just for stability and posability, but also added fidget opportunites.

His hands, boots and cap are all detached, his cap and the hand holding it are pinned to his head for the picture, his other hand and he himself pinned to the pillow. The boots can stand on their own.

The pattern for the boots has got to be one of the more complicated ones I made, and probably the most complicated I made as only a part of a bigger project. I possibly could have come up with a way to simplify them, but I didn't want to think about it. They look great and stand on their own on a soft surface, what more could you want? (I also did not write the pattern down, but if anyone wants it I could try I guess)

Well, as it turns out, he did not like being grisped. He is sulking now.

But this is a great opportunity to show off his tail, and the tape attaching it. It's far from centered, but whatever. He didn't have a mirror, I guess.

His bandage can also be taken off, and so can his coat, for that matter.

He is but a sickly little worm beneath it. Eraserhead baby looking ass (the body really just exists to fill out the coat and is not generally intended to be seen).
