They say that when you put a smile on your face … you will feel happy. So annoying to put a smile on your face when you are unhappy, but worth it. Lol try it!

Why Do You Do What You Do?
People say that humans are put on this Earth for a purpose. Each and every one of us has a purpose to serve to make this world a better place. Regardless of your age, when was the last time you stopped for a minute to think about why you do what you do. For me this has been an agonizing question as I've gone through the last 44 years of my life. I have always felt like my purpose for being on this Earth is to reach out to children and help them become happy healthy and whole.
As a person who has achieved many goals that I have set for myself, at this age I still find that question agonizing as I still feel like I have a purpose at this time and it is outside the realm of what I am currently doing. Although I have dedicated my life to children , as an educator , for the past 25 years I find myself inconstant frustration of breaking out of what I know to reach the next level and my purpose on this Earth. Which leads me to writing this post. So again, I posed a question on to you regardless of your age why do you do what you do what is your purpose on this Earth?
As I work with youth on a daily basis, I find that very few understand this concept. Many of our youth go through life never truly understanding their true meaning and their true purpose on this Earth. Why is that?
Is it because we never asked them to contemplate such an idea? Is it because we never offer them the time to think about who they are and what their purpose is?
It seems like it's a very simple concept you ask youth to know and learn who they are as human beings and with that they are to determine their purpose. So this all starts with helping youth understand who they are. I believe this concept can be taught by teaching them how to follow their heart, that inner voice deep down inside and Foster it. It seems as though many of our youth can't even comprehend the concept of an inner voice that is so loud that they are to follow it. That is partly because it hasn't been fostered. That inner voice will help them understand who they truly are. The issue with them fostering that voice is they will have to face many emotional fears, such as fear sadness. As I stated before, the concept is simple the challenge is difficult. Once the youth understand how to do this, they are able to begin navigating the road of their true destiny. Not one that is posed on them by their environment but one that is truly from within them.
The second question is time. It seems as though we never provide an opportunity for youth to take time to think about what they are to do on this Earth truly think about their purpose. It seems as though there are much more important things to do such as school and friends and electronics and finally socialization. Those are all very important, but just as important as they are it is as important for children to have time to think about what they are to do on this Earth.
This is the daily challenge, Foster the inner voice to becoming the person you are meant to be, and then take time daily to think about your purpose on this Earth.

The former Disney Channel star (full name: Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman) has emerged as a champion of body positivity, schooling E!’s Giuliana Rancic earlier this year for mocking Zendaya’s dreadlocks at the Oscars and sharing unretouched versions of a magazine photoshoot with her 14.1 million Instagram followers. Recently, Mattel debuted a custom Barbie modeled after Zendaya’s Oscars look, meant to honor “a moment of confidence that was so positively received.” —D.D.

In January, the YouTube star was one of a select group of social media celebs who interviewed President Obama after the State of the Union address. The fashion and beauty blogger boasts a huge number of fans — nicknamed Motavators — on multiple social networks: 9.5 million subscribers on YouTube, 2.69 million followers on Twitter and 5.2 million followers on Instagram. She continues to work on a line of clothing and home decor for Aéropostale, release her own music and work on charitable endeavors with UNICEF. And in August, teens cast 25 million votes for FOX’s Teen Choice awards, where Mota won for Choice Web Star: Female. —A.R.
