- Your mental health is YOUR responsibility.

- Therapy is important. Not all therapists are meant for you. Don’t quit just because one isn’t the right fit. Keep trying until you find a therapist that works for you. And be sure to take advantage of free/ cheap options.

-Don’t push toxic behaviors onto others and expect them to stick it out. It’s manipulative and immature. If you are suffering, seek help and peace. Don’t spoil someone else’s joy.

- Decorate your home. Even it is only one room at a time. Have a place in your house that you look forward to being in (aside from your bed). Let your home be a place of activity and liveliness, not just the place you go to to sleep or sulk.

-YouTube has awesome cheap room makeovers/ DIY ideas

- When you see something in a store, make sure to check online for coupons or cheaper options. Usually amazon will have it for cheaper.

- COUPONS! There are so many options like Ebates and Retailmenot (my personal faves)

- Watch personal finance/ budget videos every now and then. There’s nothing more inspiring than watching someone who makes as much as you make it work. It may seem that your money can’t stretch. Let someone teach you how.

- Don’t make dumb decisions just because you’re young. Not everyone needs a reckless phase. It’s okay to be smart and say no to things that don’t feel right.

- Not everyone needs a “hoe phase”. It’s okay to not want to have casual sex and it doesn’t make you a prude or weird.

- Conversely, it’s okay to explore your sexuality with multiple sex partners. You arent obligated to share your sex life. It’s your body. Be safe and clean.

- Go to the doctors. Period.

- Demand orgasms. Don’t feel obligated to fake them for the sake of someone’s feelings. Only have sex with people who care about pleasing you. You’re grown now. Meaning you could be doing other things with your time instead of pretending you’re enjoying bland sex.

- Learn who you are and be self aware. Understand your flaws and strengths.

- Learn to communicate effectively and don’t expect people to forgive just because you say you’re sorry.
