Advantages and disadvantages of blogging
As blogging is a new experience for me, I thought it would be helpful to see the pros and cons of it and that's what I want to share with you today. I hope this will make your use of blogging easier.
Basically, a blog is an online website where one can share opinions, views and personal experiences and where other users can react by liking the post or writing a comment.
In fact, blogs are very easy to set up. People of different ages without much knowledge of technology can use it. We can easily share our thoughts by updating or creating new posts. It is interesting to read other people's blogs and share views on different topics of interest.
On the other hand, while we share our thoughts, opinions, and experiences on a blog, we should be aware that our articles may be read by many, if not everyone. So it's important to think twice before posting anything you might regret later. We also need to be prepared to handle comments and feedback from others, as we don't all share the same opinions. Another important point to consider is that not all information on blogs is reliable. So, we have to make sure the information is appropriate. Finally, when we have a blog, TIME is mandatory because we have to update it.
I hope you find this information useful and if you would like to share any advantage or disadvantage of blogging not mentioned above, I would be very happy to hear from you.
Have you heard about Kahoot? Stay tuned, I’ll soon post on how Kahoot benefits my teaching and learning.

Technological tools
Over the past two years, the education system has undergone a great change. As teachers, we had to adapt to new things like making video calls with students, correcting work online or sending reports online, among others. Fortunately, I work in a private school where technological tools are part of teaching and learning. The switch to online learning was immediate without too many problems.
Before 2022, I used "Microsoft Teams", whether we were online or not. I liked using this tool because as teachers we were able to connect with our students very easily. The chat feature allowed us to have one-on-one conversations with the students. I did my classes using video calls or posting work on different channels.
Now, in 2022, the school has moved from Microsoft Teams to Gmail for financial reasons. Gmail isn't so bad because it has pretty much the same features as Teams (chat, spaces for channels). In one place we can access our mail, see our chat messages, access our drive and our Google classroom. On Google Classroom, I post tutorials, YouTube videos, and student work.
I believe online learning is different for every teacher and school. I’ll be happy to know your experience!
