After introducing his girlfriend to the family and declaring she is probably the one, Quentin decided he didn't want to leave his family, like his brother had. But the house is just to small to fit another family (which he really hoped he would start with Ava one day) so he took up all his savings he had stored away to buy his restaurant one day and started constructing a new level on the house with extra bedrooms and a bathroom. Of course his savings weren't nearly enough, so the family started a mission to rise enough money to complete the renovations.

Granny Harriet was making canned fruit and vegetables and jams all day long, which Laura sold at the local market

Okay, so the first part of the challenge I failed already 😂

The challenge says Quentin has to have 3 failed dates set up by his mom wanting him to settle down. I of course put a sim in the world to be end game (gorgeous sim I downloaded from the gallery) (because we don't want him marrying an ugly townie) But the first time I took Quentin to go to the local bar, she showed up and they started flirting autonomously. It was like they were meant to be (🤭) She asked him out on a date practically every day...

Who am I to stand in the way of true love, after hanging out and actually becoming best friends they kissed on a deserted beach and they are now a couple.

And don't they look good together ❤️🥰

Ava Thompson actually lived in San Myshuno, but studied marine biology and went to live in Sulani to help take care of the endangered fish species there and it seems she has caught a great catch herself

Every Saturday Quentin took the time to hang out with his father, catching fish, but mostly just talking

Of course, being the experienced fisherman, Samuel would catch a fine fish and Saturday supper

Ever since Quentin was a small boy, what he loved most of all was spending time with granny Harriet in the warm and cozy kitchen, watching her work her magic. With simple ingredients she could make a dish that smelled heavenly and made their house really feel like a home. In time he shared her passion for cooking, for creating something that went beyond just food, but that gave people comfort and peace. And Quentin knew that was what he wanted to do the rest of his life

This is the whole family. We start with grandma Harriet, she is the bones of this family, she is the one who taught Quentin to cook and passed her love for good food to him.

The parents are Samuel and Laura. Samuel is a fisher (as the name of the gen says of course 🤭) and Laura is a stay at home mom, but she sell the fish her husband catches at the local market. Laura has just one goal in life, seeing her sons married well, so she is always on the lookout for potential daughter in laws, much to Quentin's despair 😉

They have two sons, the oldest is Maxwell and Quentin is the youngest. Maxwell left Sulani to find a new job in the big city, but ever since he left he hardly contacts the family anymore.

Fishing is more and more difficult due to the pollution of the seas, which means the family is facing some hard times financially, and now Maxwell is gone, Quentin is left alone to support his family.

His passion is cooking and his big dream is to one day open his own restaurant with the best local cuisine.

I have to say these gen's were a lot more difficult then I anticipated, the challenge creator @ginovasims makes them seem so wholeseome even amidst all the chaos in her youtube videos, but I found it a lot more difficult to tell there stories. They are all working through so much. ❤️

Pippa had a surprise baby on the way, she hid from the father, Xavier
