SO many thoughts about Wylan being tailored to look like Kuwei. Firstly that he wants to become a different person so badly he allows someone to (as far as he knows) permanently turn him into someone else. But what just occurred to me is that he then hates the person he’s made to look like. There’s a bit of symbolism there I fear. He’s trying to escape his past and his self-doubt and everything and yet nothing makes it go away because it’s in him, not in how he looks. And now he’s in a rivalry with a chemist who looks exactly like him because this other chemist also has a crush on Jesper. And to Wylan’s mind of course this is a threat. They’re so similar. So Jesper might well choose Kuwei, because Kuwei isn’t Wylan. And Wylan wouldn’t choose himself either.
