Oh to be a child again,

Filled with nothing but joy and wish to grow up too fast,

I hope i had held that wish in a bit longer,

Maybe let it linger around my lips,

Until i knew what growing up will feel like,

I hope i knew how growing up makes one feel like,

How things are just meant to be seen and done in a particular way,

How the mundane thought of laughing till we tear up,

Or crying till we laugh,

Or running till we fall,

And falling till we get up and fly again,

Would feel just like a crystal snowflake,

Too far,

Too hard for my pure heart to imagine

In the end its always “it is what it is” to be honest, and then you gotta play along with life, until one day it will be exactly the way you want it to be.

There are people who you’ll come across in your life , exactly when you are the most vulnerable. They’ll promise to hold on to you, until the end of time.

But the moment you’ll start giving all in, they will leave.Leaving you with all those feelings in your heart.They’ll disappear as if they never were yours to begin with

I often think about the word “soulmates”.

Question the very existence of them. But i do know that they exist. I just know they do.

I think they are the people in your life, who make you feel at home, their very existence will make you dance in the shower, make you smile when you think about them. You definitely will be the best version of yourself around them.

Soulmates are the People who feel like sunshine and red roses.

I hope you have the courage to know when to end things

And i hope you have the courage to see endings as beautiful, transformative and a path to new beginnings. I hope you have all this courage to move forward and walk with grace.

Can you believe some people can see a cat and are not immediately filled with absolute unconditional love for this furry cute ass animal. They dont even get the urge to kiss them on their furry little cute baby head. Some human beings are just incomprehensible to me.

“Wasn’t he your home?”, She asked me

While sipping tea from her cup,

I looked at her stunned, shocked maybe.

“This was what you used to call him right ? Your *HOME*!”

“Yea,he was. He USED to be”, i replied

looking out of the window into the blue sky,

we were talking to one another but we both were looking somewhere else,

Well i guess thats just how it is, you are afraid of that eye contact because deep down you know they will look into your eyes and *BOOM* all your secrets will come out,

I so badly wanted to tell her how much he means to me still,

How he is my home, my only home, the one which is burnt down into dust now,

but i couldn’t. How could i?

When I’ve locked myself out of that home, burnt it down into ashes myself.
