“Honestly, I have no idea what those things are. They don’t show up around the Music Department a lot, but they’re always a pain. I think they’re some soulless version of the Butcher Gang.”

I’ve actually never drawn the Butcher Gang. They’re fun! I gave Edgar his lil fangs back because he deserves them. No clue where they went in the in game models, since he always had them in the cartoons and cutouts iirc. They’re just silly, what can I say?

“We had those, Oli. I just didn’t think they would actually catch on. I probably should have suspected, though.”

“What else has changed? I means, it’s been half a decade-”

“5 years. Just say 5 years. Half a decade makes it sound longer.”

“Alright, alright. 5 years. Anyways, what else has changed? Everything’s…still normal, right?”

“Well, I mean it’s not all the same, but I don’t think it’s changed too much. A few buildings were taken down, shops changed, new ones opened up, that kinda thing.”

“Is…Is the theater still there? The one we always went to after work?”

“Yeah, that hasn’t changed a bit. They’re still showing the latest films.”

“At least I know that hasn’t changed…”

The Ink Demonth Day 3: Tradegy

Anyways, short explanation: When the Incident (Joey accidentally letting Wally escape his office and send the Ink Machine and Studio into Chaos), Henry and Olivia definitely got a “feeling”. You know the one, where something’s happened but you don’t know what, just that it’s bad.

The Ink Demonth Day 2: Comedy

“NO! I DID NOT KNOW THAT MY LOR- I MEAN THE INK DEMON WAS WALLY. I’M NOT ENTERTAINING THIS QUESTION ANYMORE.”

Yeah I’m gonna be honest, I had no idea what to do for today. Figured I’d do a silly lil thing instead of some important lore drop or angst. Hopefully you can expect that tomorrow.

Anyways, Sammy was definitely floored when the Ink Demon’s true identity came to light. He refuses to admit he was worshipping Wally this whole time, and after a bit, everyone stopped asking. Staying quiet was better than being on the receiving end of an axe.

The Ink Demonth Day 1: Loop

“It feels like I’ve been doing the same thing for weeks now…days…? Months…? I can’t even remember anymore.”

The debut of AU Henry! This prompt was a bit of a doozy, since the Loop doesn’t actually exist in my AU! The events of the game only happen once, no weird loops or retries. Still, Henry is the one usually associated with the Loop, so I figured I’d finally give him a design!

Rambling under cut:

So, Henry is actually pretty important to the AU, despite me having never posted about him before (oops). Henry was the first employee to return to the studio (Duh), and arrived there a few days longer before Olivia. He’s actually the reason she was able to get (Someone didn’t lock the door after he went in).

He acts a bit like a foil to Olivia. Henry is set on ending the nightmare within the studio with the End Reel, while Olivia is looking for a different way to undo Joey’s mess. Their clashing ideals often lead to conflict within the larger group (Henry’s gang consists of Allison, Tom, and Buddy, once they bring him back). While he’s “antagonistic”, he’s not the bad guy. He’s antagonistic in Olivia’s eyes, which fuels her ideals of saving everyone even further (to her detriment). He believes that they can’t fix things here, having already tried to before the Music Department gang joined up with his.

He’s a really interesting character to mess around with in the AU, so hopefully now I have a design, maybe you guys can expect more Henry content!

Since Olivia is my OC, I’ve decided today is her birthday! Today, one year ago, was the first time I ever posted about her! It’s only fitting for her birthday to be her first public appearance! I like to think she isn’t one to celebrate her birthday a lot. She just got used to working through the holidays, which also applied to her birthday. I think the Music Department Trio would set up a little something for her, though mostly at the insistence of Jack. None of these people except him really celebrate their birthdays anymore.

With this being Olivia’s first ever public appearance, it also marks the anniversary of my blog! Technically I created it somewhere around March, but today was the first day I ever posted, exactly one year ago! Can’t believe it’s been this long already. I remember first seeing the Ink Demonth for 2024 and deciding to take part in it. I never expected for my art to actually attract people or for anyone to ever actually notice it. It gave me the confidence to start showing off my art more, and even made me pick up a pen (metaphorical, it was a keyboard) and start writing. The amount of support I’ve received for my little endeavors has been amazing, and I’ve actually improved in my art a lot. If you look back at least year’s Ink Demonth prompts, you’ll see a massive difference. It’s been great knowing I can actually improve, and I’m not stuck in a metaphorical ditch.

So from the bottom of my heart, thank you! Let’s see if we can make it 2 years, chat.
