Okay so miles or Hobie being aware of national I love you day and just saying it to the other throughout the day

Like waking them up with kisses saying I love you to them

Coming up behind them randomly and telling them they love them

Texting them that they love them

Just any possible moment

Eventually the other gets curious and asks and is told about it and then is like "well why didn't you tell me" and ambushes the other with kisses repeatedly saying I love you

Once again riches caus ei only have a minute left

I'd elaborate more but I really want to post this before national I love you day is up so I'm really rushing to finish typing

I'll always love punkflower soulmate fics and how Hobie doesn't believe in soulmates but then he meets miles who's his soulmate and they fall in love

But

What if they weren't soulmates and still fell in love

And it comes with lots of angst about miles loving the idea of soulmates since the day his parents explained soulmates to him

Miles growing up daydreaming about the day he'd meet his soulmate and imagining their life together

How would they meet?

What would they look like?

Would they have a big family like him?

He had so many questions and he couldn't wait to have answers

And then he meets Hobie, who is the complete opposite of him

Hobie who doesn't believe in soulmates and has dated a few people in the past

Hobie who doesn't lose a second of sleep wondering if he would ever find his soulmate

Hobie who miles falls heads over heels in love with

But miles can't love Hobie because Hobie has a soulmate even if he doesn't believe in them and miles loves his own soulmate, right?

Miles tries to distance himself from Hobie and becomes obsessed with finding his soulmate

His parents always told him that when they first locked eyes they knew in that moment that they were meant to be together

All he needed was to meet his soulmate and everything would be okay again

He could get answers to all the questions he had wondered over the years

(he ignored the voice in the back of his head answering his questions with Hobie. they met during the spot incident, he has tons of piercings that miles loves and a great fashion taste an-)

His parents notice his odd behavior

It's hard not to notice when he's been asking a million questions about how they met, things they often didn't have answers to

What was the weather like?

What time was it?

What were you wearing?

After a week of this they finally sit him down and ask about his behavior

Miles breaks down crying and tells them everything

His parents aren't really equipped to handle the situation, having both grown up hearing people talk so negatively about people who fall in love with someone who isn't their soulmate

But in that moment of seeing their son so miserable for loving someone that the world tells him he shouldn't love, they don't care about any of that

They talk, they talk about everything

It takes a while for miles to fully accept his own feelings after the talk with his parents

He can't even go outside without being reminded of it all with all the couples, who are no doubt soulmates, walking around

Eventually though, as miles watched Hobie swing around the city, smitten with love, he comes to terms with it

He loves Hobie

Miles Morales loves Hobie brown

And no, they may not be soulmates, but that doesn't matter to him anymore

Not when he gets to call Hobie his boyfriend and hold his hand and steal kisses from him

May I suggest a punkflower no powers au where they go to the same school and share an art class together

Hobie is taking a Spanish class because it's required (idk if it's required everywhere but where i live you need 2 foreign language credits, usually Spanish, to pass) but he doesn't know shit about Spanish

One day during art class he's working on his Spanish homework and I know he wouldn't do homework ever but this is an au so anything is possible

Hobie looks to miles who sits across from him and asks him if he knows Spanish and miles says yes so Hobie asks for help on it

That's the first time they ever spoke and Hobie kinda falls in love

He can't believe he's never realized the cute guy who sits across from him who is incredible at art and furrows his brows when a question makes him think a little harder

They don't really talk after that though

Hobie, who wants to talk to miles again but doesn't know how to start a conversation, decided the best course of action is to purposely not do his homework again and ask miles for more help

Eventually he works up the courage to ask miles to teach him Spanish using some excuse about wanting to learn some Spanish so he doesn't always have to bother him

They start meeting up after school and at first it's just Spanish lessons but eventually they start getting distracted and forget all about the lessons and they're just hanging out and eventually friends turns to boyfriends

I'd like to add that when Hobie first asked miles if he knew Spanish miles only said yes because he thought Hobie was attractive and had been looking for an excuse to talk to him for a while

When Hobie asked for help he said yes and continued to say yes because of the same reason, otherwise he would have said no because he hated doing his own Spanish homework and definitely didn't need to be doing someone elses

Something to do with minor cuts and bandaids

Idk ive just been thinking about one of them getting banged up in a fight but it's nothing serious just a bunch of small scrapes, it would've healed in less than a day

It didn't matter to the other though cause they covered the injured one in a bunch of colorful bandaids and didn't let them take them off

Uh so I didn't mean to post the other thing about the Hershey kisses ;-;

I was scheduling it but I accidentally posted it now so I figured I might as well finish the thought

So after miles pulls out the big bag of Hershey kisses everyone laughs about it and miles doesn't get why

Hobie, used to miles obliviousness, was just going to eat the candy and pretend that he was talking about the chocolate and move on

Except Hobie doesn't have Hershey's kisses in his universe and he never really eats chocolate so he eats it and has this huge reaction

He's talking about how good it tastes and just start eating as many as he can and this confuses miles even more since he assumed if Hobie wanted the chocolates as a snack he'd like them already and wouldn't be shocked that they taste good

He'll ask Hobie about it who will then explain he never eats chocolate and that Hershey's doesn't even exist in his universe

Miles is confused even more and he won't realize what it means until days later

He'll be lying in his bed ready to go to sleep and then his eyes will fly open and he'll think "he wanted an actual kiss from me!" And he'll be embarrassed forever

I've been thinking of a scenario where the group plans a hangout and miles goes to buy snacks for everyone so he texts the group chat asking what they want

Everyone texts snacks they want and everything but Hobie says he wants a kiss

Miles, ever the oblivious fool, asks, "just the one?" Thinking he was referring to the chocolate

The group chat is obviously shocked about this and they're freaking out about this since they assume miles knows Hobie wanted an actual kiss

Hobie replies with something like "as many as you want to give me" also thinking miles knows he means real kisses

Then imagine everyone's reaction to miles pulling out a huge bag of Hershey's kisses when they all get there

I know so many people do the thing with the Hershey kisses but I just can't let go of this scene now that I've imagined it

Don't ask me why because I don't know

I just want to read about them feeding each other strawberries and dipping them in chocolate and stuff

I want to read about them sharing an orange and somehow they split it unevenly and instead of accepting that one side it bigger or just taking a little off from one side so they're even they fight over who gets the bigger half cause they each insist the other should get it

I think they're called prickly pears? (I only know the Spanish name for a lot of fruit T-T) I wanna see them struggling to peel it cause they don't want to get poked with the spikes

I want to read about them eating a lemon and laughing at the face the other makes

I want to read about them eating grapes and throwing them at each other for the other to catch in their mouths

I have so many fruit related punkflower thoughts the list is miles long

I took a nap on the living room floor (it was horrible my back hurts now) and when I woke up the only thing I remembered is someone in my dream saying "for someone on the run you sure do stop and smell the flowers a lot"

It kinda sounds like something that I stole, is this from somewhere? Cause idk it just sounds like something that has already been said, maybe I heard it on TV while I was asleep?

Doesn't matter cause it's time to punkflower it

I'm gonna be 100% honest I don't have a real story idea for this

All I know is that I want an on the run Hobie who meets miles who was on his journey of self discovery

And they'll have one of those moments from the movie where they're on a train car with all the hay and the sun is setting and it's golden hour

They'll be talking and having a great time while they look into the fields and cows and horses as the train speeds by it all

Going from there I think Hobie would wake miles up by yelling his name saying "time to wake up sunshine!" And yes Hobie will be calling miles sunshine for the entirety of this whole idea

And they'll be walking for hours exploring towns and everytime Hobie sees a flower he just has to stop and smell it which is where the line about being in the run comes in

Yeah I pretty much only wrote this because I wanted to get that train scene idea out into he world, I didn't really think about how to incorporate the flower line into it I just want it in there too

I'm so sick rn I can barely move and I was looking through my drafts and found this that I wrote when I had a fever and it kinda surprised me cause I had the memory of writing this but I thought it was some kinda fever dream lmao

Anyways punkflower but Minecraft but it was written and posted while I have a probably too high fever and I may actually be dying

I can't stop thinking about Hobie and miles playing Minecrafttt

I think miles would be the one who goes out gathering supplies and Hobie would occasionally follow him

Miles would be mining and Hobie just following behind with torches, miles would tell him to go mine somewhere else so they can get more supplies but hobie insists on staying with miles

Similarly when miles goes collecting supplies like wood and food Hobie follows but doesn't really do much. He'd definitely collect every flower he sees and gives them to miles so much that Miles inventory fills up with just flowers but hobie gets 'upset' if miles throws out the flowers to make more room so they have to make multiple trips to get everything they need

Hobie isn't helpless when it comes to mobs, he just likes to act like it. When miles isn't around he can protect himself just fine, but when miles is around he lets the mobs attack him and complains to miles how he isn't protecting him. Miles knows Hobie can protect himself and always scoffs at Hobie acting helpless but he always goes to Hobie s rescue even if he doesn't really need it

Hobie purposely looks at endermen. When miles is around he runs to miles to complain about not being protected but when he's alone he chases the endermen while it's teleporting

The end was a nightmare for miles because Hobie kept dying because he looked at every single endermen he could. (Miles tried to get him to wear a pumpkin and even put curse of binding on it but Hobie just jumped into the void and came back pumpkin less to look at endermen)

Hobie doesn't bother remembering the names of the flowers but he's trying to collect all types of flowers and gets excited when he sees a new kind. He was especially happy when he found out sunflowers existed in Minecraft and he planted them all around their base

The first time they found a wolf/cat/parrot they fought over who got to tame it. They also have many animals roaming around their home like frogs, axolotls, sheep, foxes

Hobie definitely looked up Minecraft pick up lines and uses them any chance he can

Miles tried to have a storage system but Hobie just refuses to put stuff back in their correct places

At one point they would invite pavitr and Gwen into their world

Pavitr would either suck at the game or be really good at it, no in-between. He could have every crafting recipe memorized or be the person who asks how to craft a stick (my brother legit asked me this once)

Gwen would be really good at building but hardly ever has the motivation to build and often leaves builds unfinished. She often leaves the backs of her builds unfinished or just gets the base done and then doesn't add the details, when this happens pavitr tries to add details but it never turns out how he wanted to and also leaves it half finished

Pavitr would encourage Hobie in collecting flowers for miles. He would also rename flowers and try to convince Hobie that it's a different flower (it's worked a total of 1 time but he still tries)

When hobies planting the flowers he collects for miles he doesn't really care how he places them but his placement often annoyed Gwen. They continuously go back and forth between Hobie placing the flowers, Gwen moving them becotheu annoy her, Hobie moving them back and so on

Pavitr goes mining with miles and jumps when cave noises happen (sometimes he screams a little and that scares miles so he screams too and Gwen and Hobie laugh at both of them)

I have so many more ideas but I feel like this has already been too long and I don't think people even want to read this

Just an update on my homework, I turned it in at 11:51 pm, 8 full minutes before it was due <⁠(⁠￣⁠︶⁠￣⁠)⁠>

Now all I gotta do is study for my algebra, chemistry, and medical terminology test tomorrow ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ

This is what I get for thinking I could handle all these advanced courses when I am chronic procrastinator

And cause I feel bad posting without it being something fandom related take stressed out miles (note that any and all stuff about miles and school is definitely me complaining about my school work)

When miles got to his dorm the first thing he did was kick off his shoes and fall face first onto the bottom bunk (I always say bottom/top bunk cause I have no idea who has which bunk Q^Q)

It had been a long day

The worst part? His day wasn't over, he still had a mountain of homework to get through. Okay, maybe that was an exaggeration but it definitely felt like a mountain of homework when he sat down and stared at the pile of notebooks and folders full of assignments for each of his classes

This was always the hardest part, actually starting. Should he start with the easiest ones to give himself a bit of a break before getting into the harder ones? Or maybe he should just get the harder ones out of the way? Maybe it was smarter to start with his first period homework since it was due first?

Miles groaned as he let his head fall into his desk with a loud bang. why did this have to be so complicated?

Miles felt his phone buzz in his pocket, he should really turn his phone off unless he wants to get distracted. He pulled the device out of his pocket and nearly broke down in tears right then and there, it was a reminder that there was a test in his math class tomorrow, one he had not studied for yet

That just added to the list of work and questions of what he should do first. Now that he was aware he had a test it was probably more important to study for it then to do homework, it was worth more of his grade after all- but, he had missed so much schoolwork already and he wasn't sure if he could afford to not do the homework

Miles sighed as he pulled out his computer, he had to check his grades to make sure he could afford this, not doing the homework. He froze as he pulled up website, he really didn't want to check his grades

What if he was failing? He knew it was an unreasonable thought, just a few weeks ago he had all A's and he had been doing all the work he could and he knew he had been getting nothing but A's and B's on those, a missed day or two wasn't going to bring his grade down that bad, but what if?

Miles sucked in a sharp breath, checking his grades right now was not an option, and it wouldn't be an option until he was certain he was passing

What did that leave him with then? 7 classes worth of homework and a test to study for, all in- miles checked the time, it was 5:32

Right, 7 classes and a test in 13 hours, when he put it that way it didn't sound too bad. Miles looked through his homework, 2 worksheets, 3 packets, 1 essay, a few chapters of a book to read, and all the reviewing he had to do

Okay, he could start with math, his first period. All he had was a worksheet that would take maybe 30 minutes, then he couldn't move on to his next class and read the book, that would take him about an hour or so

The other worksheet would also take 30 minutes, each of the 3 packets would take an hour, the essay would take maybe two hours plus, and he could review for an hour at the minimum

That would all take... 8 hours at the minimum, let's move it up to 9 hours just to be safe. That left him 4 hours, he could use that time to shower and look over his work to make sure it was right. Then he couldn't go over his math notes one last time and then he'd go to class and he'll have all his work done and he'll be ready for the test

This could really work. Sure this means he has to stay up all night but it's not like it'd be the first time, besides, his parents always told him his number one concern in life should be school

With that, miles sat at the desk and began working on his homework

Just me projecting last week lol

Anyways I don't know how to tag and always use the minimal amounts so if someone could reach me that'd be great cause I suck at this

WHY DOES MY COMPUTER CHARGE SO SLOWWW

ripping my hair out rn, literally writing this through tears as I rethink my life choices

I've seen a few things where miles can use his powers to charge devices how he exploded a few devices before he got it just right and also been thinking about how he can absorb the energy

(random thought that isn't related to this but do you think miles or rather spider man sees a person on the side of the road with their car and uses his powers to do the car battery thing that usually needs those cables and another car? Idk if I'm describing that right the only things I know about cars I only know what they're called in Spanish)

Okay so think about the teenage kraken movie where she destroys phones when they're talking about her/the kraken

So what if miles and Hobie as spider people are so obviously in love and always nearby each other when they're fighting and people in miles world start shipping them like how we do and write fanfics about them and fan art and stuff

And this embarrassed miles and ganke makes fun of him all the time about it and prints out pictures of the fanarts and the fanfics and hangs them around the dorm

And he hears kids talking about him and Hobie and about the ship and them showing each other the fanarts and giving fic recommendations

Miles has enough and the first thing he does is destroy the printer while invisible with his powers

Then he walks around the halls, still invisible, and drains kids phones of their batteries if he hears them talking about it

And it starts this whole funny thing about the kids being scared of the ghost that dislikes the ship and it quickly gets them to stop talking about it at school

(some kids challenge this 'ghost' and begin reading out fanfic from their phones in the hallways and miles blows up their phones while he's invisible)

MY COMPUTER IS DEAD I CAN'T EVEN BEGIN TO WORK ON THE ASSIGNMENT THIS IS WHAT I GET FOR PROCRASTINATING TT-TT

More punkflower rambles while I wait for my computer to charge ༎ຶ⁠‿⁠༎ຶ

Something about foraging where miles has an assignment about plants or something but he doesn't know anything about plants and Google isn't helping him and he's frustrated and is banging his head on his desk when Hobie crawls through his window

He tells Hobie all about his assignment and how he doesn't know what to do so Hobie takes him to his universe and into a Forrest far away from where Hobie lives

Hobie explains to him that he stumbled upon it before he got his spider bite and got lost so he had to forage for plants he could eat. He said he got real sick the first few times he ate the plants but now he knows what's good to eat and what isnt

They make a day out of foraging for plants and at the end of the day Hobie cooks miles a meal with everything they gathered

The next day miles goes home with a new perspective and a new found interest in plants and he gets his assignment done with no issues after that

Okay so apparently I don't care about my grades because the panic is still not here ◉⁠‿⁠◉

So miles doesn't tie his shoelaces as a style choice or whatever

Since he never ties his shoes I'd assume he has practice with not tripping with untied she's cause why would he deliberately not tie his shoes if he falls over all the time

But what if when miles starts developing feeling for Hobie he's always tripping over his own feet cause he's an awkward boy in love

It leads to a ton of injuries with miles scraping his knees and falling on concrete and leaving bruises

At first Hobie would tease him about it and would help miles up saying a cheesy line like 'looks like you've fallen for me' not knowning that miles had actually fallen for him and that was why he was tripping so often

Then Hobie would actually start getting worried and would scold him about tying his shoes and always carries a small first aid kit with him so he could clean miles injuries when he fell

After miles refused to tie his shoelaces (miles knew he wasn't falling because of his shoelaces but it was a great excuse and he was not going to lose that excuse) and he continued getting hurt, Hobie developed a bit of a 'miles sense'

It was just like his spider sense except specifically for miles. No matter what he was doing, like talking to someone or playing guitar, he would be able to tell when miles was about to trip and he would drop what he was doing and go to catch miles

OKAY I DO CARE ABOUT MY GRADES CAUSE THE PANIC IS SETTING IN NOW!!!

So the panic still hasn't set in and I'm already running out of punkflower rambles (⁠´⁠-⁠﹏⁠-⁠`⁠；⁠)

As much as ganke insists he's not the guy in the chair he probably covers for miles at school at least a few times, right? Maybe finishes up some of miles assignments and makes excuses for him when he's late to class and making sure miles gets all the notes

And going off my previous ramble that miles draws Hobie all over his assignments the two get caught when Hobie isn't drawn on the homework for that day

So after that ganke begrudgingly starts drawing Hobie on miles assignments.

At first he takes tracing paper traces a drawing from miles sketchbook and then transfers it onto the homework and that works just fine and they don't get caught anymore

But there's only so many drawings of Hobie in miles sketchbook that are small enough to fit on an assignment so when ganke realizes this he starts trying to draw Hobie by hand so he'll never run out of Hobie drawings

The first few times he sucks at it and can't get miles style right, but since he's traced miles work a lot he quickly gets the hang of it

Now ganke, who isn't the best at drawing, is a master at doodles of Hobie. He complains about it to miles a lot how it's the only thing he can draw that actually looks good and makes miles buy him lunch all the time because he says he deserves an apology

Miles chooses to never complain when ganke demands miles buys him lunch because he knows the lengths ganke goes to to make sure miles doesn't get kicked out of school for not doing the work

More punkflower rambles because the panic still hasn't set in

So miles likes to draw his crushes, right? He'll fill his sketchbooks with just that person and draw them on walls while doing graffiti, but what if him drawing his crushes didn't end at that?

We've all drawn on a school paper or in our notebooks at least once, just absentmindedly doodling while the teacher talks and stuff. So, what if miles drew Hobie on his assignments in class?

What if, before he met Hobie and still had a crush on Gwen she would be the person who he constantly drew on his assignments. His teachers would recognize her since she briefly went to the school and in the teachers lounge they would sometimes bring it up

They'd be like "you know that miles kids? Yeah, the one that draws Gwen all the time" and it was just common knowledge between the teachers that it wasn't possible to grade an assignment of his without seeing a Gwen drawing

Then miles disappears for a few days while the whole spot thing is happening and when he gets back he has a mountain of work to catch up on. By this time he doesn't have a crush on Gwen anymore so when he turns all his work in it's without any Gwen drawings

The teachers are a bit shocked by this but ignore it and assume it's because he had so much work and couldn't afford to waste a single second

Then a days go by and the lack of Gwen drawing is really bizarre to them. They talk about it a bit in the teachers lounge but they don't do much cause it isn't their place to be interrogating him about his love life

Then miles begins drawing Hobie on his school work. The teachers are again shocked and once again talk a bit about it. It quickly becomes the new normal to see drawings on Hobie everywhere on his assignments

One day there would be a 'new student' roaming the halls. The teachers see him the first day he arrives and don't pay any attention to him because he isn't in any of their classes

They get suspicious when they realize that they see this kid inconsistently and they've never seen him go into a class, they only see him at lunch hanging out with Miles or in the halls

They then realize that he's the guy miles has been drawing and that he's not supposed to be at the school at all.

Once they realize this that they can't just let them wander into the school whenever he wants because safety issues and stuff so every week there's a chase for Hobie by the security guards

Miles of course gets interrogated about this cause he obviously knows Hobie but he refuses to say anything and insists he doesn't know him

Then one day security catch Hobie and bring miles into the office and interrogate them again but they both deny knowing each other

The principal then pulls out a box full of miles classwork that has drawings of Hobie and so they're caught

And Hobie is shocked and forever teases miles about that and miles is threatened by the school with detention and a call home if they catch Hobie at school again

Ngl I wrote all that just because the idea of the principal placing a stack of papers with a bunch of Hobie drawing Infront of miles and Hobie is so funny to me

I went into this with only the goal of incorporating that part and Ive just been going on and on about the first thing that pops into my mind and this probably makes no sense
