Same w making characters unlikable on purpose especially to make the "likable" characters look better liiiike😴

Genuinely I think the most limiting thing you can purposefully try to make a character is "likable"🥱

for years leafeon and glaceon(obv as eevees but for the sake of clarity im gonna call them by their evos still here) excitedly planned on evolving into their evos in sinnoh.

so when they turned 11 they went on a trip there w eon and their grandfather to evolve...

leafeon went to the moss rock. glaceon and eon went w him.

he evolved. it was cool. it got glaceon hyped for their evolution that was gonna happen the next day at the ice rock :)

the next day glaceon was ready to get out and evolve as soon as possible!

she went w leafeon and their grandfather to the ice rock up route 217 the next day.

they left without telling eon who when he found out that they left w their grandfather rushed out to try and get to them.

while heading down mt coronet in a blizzard. glaceon slipped and fell getting caught in the falling snow and seriously hurt...

when she was pulled out of the snow she had evolved(her body's way of trying to help her)

leafeon and their grandfather brought her to the first house they could find and the pokemon there let them rest...

when eon eventually caught up w his kids and their grandfather...

he was earnestly terrified of the possibility that espeon pushed glaceon after hearing about what went down... he even asked leafeon if...he saw their grandfather..."do anything" when it happened...

leafeon was confused. he just said that him and grandpa started looking for her right away and that espeon found her and carried her to the nearest house.

eon didnt know if he believed leafeon completely...it would be nice if it was true but...he knows hes lied enough over the years himself to cover his fathers back...

but the thing is...espeon legitimately didnt do anything to cause glaceon to fall...he even helped find her and made sure she was safe as soon as possible...

which obv eons grateful for but. he couldnt help feeling like hes going a little crazy overthinking the whole situation...

but... in the end, glaceons safe and its thanks to their grandfather...thats what matters, right?

Granpappy Espeon genuinely trying to search for Glaceon and getting Glaceon and Leafeon to the house right after a situation in which Glaceon evolved by being pushed to the limit in the blizzard environment is so, it's making me crazy for the kids and Eon. I think that Grandpappy being genuine in trying to help Glaceon gets me, like he shows that care to his grandkids but not his own kids? Like he almost put it behind him. But it's also proof that Granpappy's ideas are RIGHT, and maybe it peaks his interest again and maybe when grandkiddie Espeon evolves, Granpappy sees someone who can carry on his ideas.

this and the fact that when they came back from sinnoh espeon had just evolved while they were gone🙃

a celebi that finds an abandoned pokemon egg.

she gets attached to the pokemon that hatches. raising him as her own. she doesnt time travel for about 6 years...just wanting to be there w this little pokemon while theyre growing up...

but she misses time traveling. its only natural. its basically what celebis are made for. but she cant take her child with her or he'll register as an anomaly straight away and...

so. she takes a chance and starts working on a time machine. hoping to show her little one the world how she sees it...how shes supposed to see it...

dialga knows. he always did. he cant let her finish it.

knowing her punishment is coming she tells her child goodbye. regretting that she wont get to see him grow up...

her child continues work on the time machine.

celebis being created effectively as adults. by dialga in a gap in time as more or less agents that keep any possible anomalies in check if needed(theres not that many at all so it gets pretty boring and they tend to just take care of plant life instead...). and since they dont have a present they were hatched in theyre able to traverse time relatively freely without registering as an anomaly.

most celebis don't get close w regular pokemon from time periods they visit unless its absolutely needed.

if a celebi themselves threatens the stability of time for any reason there will be consequences straight from dialga himself...

been thinking about efverse celebis a little bit lately...

thinks about how for a little while after evolving eons facial expressions would be a little more pronounced around others due to feeling their emotions minimally...
